AHHHHHHHHHHH OMG. DONT LET THIS INSIDE SOURCE BE TRUE? WHO IS IT. ahhhh im like obsessed with this show. its pulling in decent numbers for its timeslot. nothing specatcular, and yah it may be the least watched show of the night but its sooo critically amazing.

I wouldn't worry. If UPN does axe it, it will probably just get picked up by some other outlet, maybe a basic cable place like USA - that's my prediction.

Oh yeah many times. For one example Monk was axed from the ABC fall lineup before it aired, then USA bought it. And Grounded for Life started as a Fox show for a year or two then got bought by UPN.
Veronica Mars is not made by UPN, I believe. I think it's an MTV show isn't it? So as long as MTV doesn't cancel it, should be alright.

The best example of that is probably JAG, which was canceled after an unsuccessful season on NBC, only to be picked up by CBS. It's still going strong nine years later.

Was going to comment/bump this up as I saw it was on the bottom without any recent posts.
Anyway, I saw part of one show - It seemed like a nice, cool show. Maybe similar to the same quirky type of show as Joan of A - the first season as I haven't watched this season.
Also, I like the father who was in Just Shoot Me.

I'm happy because I just know this will get a second season. I'm not even worried about it. It WILL happen. They know that they have a great, beloved show on their hands and knew that it would take time for it to find its audience. Obviously ratings will go up in the second season once more people get to check it out this summer in reruns and hopefully they will release it on DVD before the second season starts so people can catch up. I'd like to see it get released on DVD before the end of summer.
This is easily the best of this season's new shows! Better than LOST and DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. They need to give some of their ratings to this show! I've been watching all along and have been taping all of the episodes too. I can't wait until I can buy the first season on DVD.

Funny that no one mentioned VM's crushing win in the E! Online's "Save Our Show" Poll. Please start watching this show, so I have a chance to see this one on DVD (or even better being picked up by a german network)
E! Online's Fifth Annual Save One Show Poll Results:
Total number of votes: 686,323
15. The Wire (HBO): Less than 1%
14. Kevin Hill (UPN): Less than 1%
13. Medical Investigation (NBC): Less than 1%
12. The West Wing (NBC): Less than 1%
11. Jack & Bobby (WB): 1%
10. North Shore (Fox): 1%
9. Joan of Arcadia (CBS): 2%
8. Point Pleasant (Fox): 2.5%
7. Enterprise (UPN): 3%
6. Tru Calling (Fox): 5%
5. Life as We Know It (ABC): 5.5%
4. Charmed (WB): 6%
3. American Dreams (NBC): 7%
2. Arrested Development (Fox): 9%
1. Veronica Mars (UPN): 56%

As I said, I like the show or the one episode that I saw.
But on the poll results - with VM getting 300,000 + votes - is it possible that this poll didn't get rigged by Internet hackers.

Well you could vote more than once if you wanted so maybe VM fans voted every day, but if so where were the fans of the other shows? This is still a crushing win even if some people voted more than once, which I'm sure people did with other shows on the poll too. However VM is still the one to come out ahead - WAY ahead.

Veronica: You call it "following," I call it "taking a walk with a friend..."
The new episode was great, as usual. I just LOVE this show! I feel bad for the people that aren't watching it and have been missing out. I love Kristen Bell on it. She's cute as a button and very likable. And her current boyfriend, Deputy Leo, played by Max Greenfield, is so damn cute it's not even funny. Yum! I love his voice. I think he sounds really sexy.

I'm so disappointed. I had tonight's episode set to record on my dish yet it didn't record. I at least went into my room 20 minutes into the episode and noticed that it wasn't recording and pushed record, but it still pisses me off that I won't be seeing the whole episode from the very beginning. Grr... Well, I'll at least either get to see it when it reruns or when I buy the show on DVD when it's released. I wish they would air it again on Friday night or something, but they only aired the show again on either UPN or MTV for the first few episodes and don't anymore. I sure wish they'd start again.

This week's episode, except the first 15-20 minutes which I missed, kicked ass! It was GREAT! This show is GREAT! They better release it on DVD soon after this season is over. I NEED to buy it! If HOUSEWIVES and LOST are going to be coming out in the middle of the summer then this should too damn it! I'd rather own this.
