I get tired of reruns, and I think this is a great move, and will allow more people to watch it, since they wont get bored with reruns. Also I hope Sayid does not die, he hasent been in many episodes lately and i dont think they will just kill him, plus hes one of my favorite characters..

I think the new scheduling thing is actually great. What an ingenious compromise of sorts!

Here is what will probably happen...

Lost Season 3 will start October 11 or October 18 and run until the end of November sweeps, probably Wednesday, November 29.

It should then return in time for February sweeps- Wednesday February 7 and run intil its usual last week of May sweeps, May 23rd.

With that schedule, it will be exactly the 24 episodes both season 1 and 2 have had.

I'm looking forward to the coming attractions at the end of tonight's show more than the show itself.

Great idea by ABC, but I'm positive there will be just as much criticism next season about the show taking a few months off for a new series. No one is ever happy.

If it was delayed 'til January, like 24, people would still complain. The only way people would be satisfied is if there was a new episode of Lost every week. So 36 episodes a season. And that's not happening.

That would leave room for more flashbacks.

Season 3 Spoilers from spoilerfix

[spoil]05/16 - [In Season 3,] there will be new locations and new characters (one rumor has Desmond joining the cast full-time, but producers won't comment). The season's big theme sounds timely, twisty, and terrifying. Hints Lindelof: "'Us versus Them.' But who's the 'us,' and who's the 'them'?"[/spoil]

OK obviously something big is going to happen. Even Abrams recently said it will be the biggest finale ever. So lets put our heads to gether and come up with big possibilities:

-- The island splits in two!
-- Another jumbo jet crashes!
-- They find an underground network of caverns and tunnels and rooms, far bigger than the hatches.
-- They discover teleport pads to other islands!
-- Bears kill all the monkeys and then go after the lostaways.
-- A creature pops out of Hurley's stomach Alien style!
-- They find a camp full of clones of each of them!

Anything jump out as likely? I'm partial to the bear/monkey storyline.

I'm jumping onto the bear v monkey storyline for obvious reasons.

For sloth bears, they were pretty motivated.

Good episode, I suppose.

Spoiler-sorta... not really a spoiler, just an overall thought of the episode airing tonight:

[spoil]Mostly a buildup episode. There's a few answers about Michael, and something interesting at the end. Other than that, all buildup for the finale.[/spoil]

[spoil]there's a clip during the ads which shows all the castaways staring off into a same direction stunned, is that it?[/spoil]

[spoil]That be it.

I will spoil it a bit, though.

It's not Loch Ness.[/spoil]

[spoil]Why does ABC insist on always showing the last shot of the episode in the ads? I can tolerate stuff from the last scene of the ep, though i still don't like it, but the very last shot is just ridiculous.[/spoil]

[spoil]Not having seen the show yet, I would think it might be the ferry that they mention in the orientation film. They said that after your 8 hour shift you send a paper up the tube and go to the ferry. Locke sent a paper up the tube.[/spoil]

[spoil]I'm saying nothing else.

For all you know, it could be Loch Ness! Heheh... wait...

DAMN IT.[/spoil]

"Three Minutes" is on in 14 minutes! After last week's fantastic episode, I'm looking forward to this one quite a bit (even though I can tell it is just an episode building up to the season finale next week).

I really hope Eko and Locke tell their fellow castaways all about Pearl Station from last week.

ok, this show has gotten incredibly dumb (or maybe just Jack).

It's Michael's call as to who goes on the mission. And why is that?
