Oh, and new episode Sunday, after being pre-empted last night for the movie on FOX.

Isnt this the last new episode until November or something?

 Really?! Damn it... I was just getting used to it.

Fox isn't waiting until after the World Series to start it's seasons for most shows this year, so while the wait is long - it's not as long as it has been in the past.

Awesome, that's not a long wait at all.

As for the episode, I thought it was really funny, but my biggest complaint was it just seemed like about 25-30 scenes strung together into one show. The vomit thing was the longest scene in the episode, and the rest was just a bunch of stuff rolled into one episode. Everyone was involved, somehow, but nothing was really the central plot.

I still can't believe it's not butter!

my favorite bits:

"Tonight in the role of Jean Valjean, will be Kirk Cameron"

"Kramer vs. Predator"

I choked during the vomit scene. This is the 2nd time this year I choked during a Family Guy episode. The first was the AIDS song.

I'm no longer allowed to eat and watch Seth MacFarlane shows.

The Vomit Scene was hilarious..
...and the "Holy Crap he's still in the trunk..he's dead."
haha.

I was watching a repeat last night where Peter was the president of a cigarette company, and they hired someone to make meg look more pretty...and this one guy goes...Hey Meg, did you get less ugly?

ahah..I laughed so hard at the part.

I've been storming through the first volume, and it's so great. Currently on "There's Something About Paulie".

"This is big fat Paulie... and this is his big fat ass."

Seth Mcfarlane's performance on last Sunday's episode as Stewie was fantastic. His whole Abercrombie-Taco Bell tirade, his giddyness when Kirk Cameron would play Jean Valjean, and the whole forgetting the kid in the trunk is worthy of a Voice Over performance Emmy. I wish he gets a second Emmy! Not some boring PBS documentary narration.

Yep. July 17th (this Sunday) and July 24th, there are new episodes. I wouldn't bet on more after that, though, as that will take care of the first thirteen episodes. Those who keep close count will know that only ten episodes will have aired, but there is that three-part episode which seems to revolve around Stewie, so I'm willing to bet that it's part of the DVD movie coming out.

"Ha! I got your hat! Take that, hatless! Now go back to the quad and resume your hackey sac tourney! I'm not gonna lay down for some frat boy bastard with his damn teether sandals and his Skoal Bandits and his Abercrombie and Fitch long sleeved, open stitched, crew neck Henley smoking his sticky buds out of a soda can while watching his favorite downloaded Simpsons episodes every night! Yes, we all love "Mr. Plow"! Oh, you've got the song memorized, do you? SO DOES EVERYONE ELSE! That is exactly the kind of idiot you see at Taco Bell at 1 in the morning! The guy who just whiffed his way down the bar skank ladder!"

now say thank you...

Yep, Seth McFarlane already won an Emmy for Best Voice Over Performance as Stewie Griffin. It is one of those "juried" awards, so there are no nominees, winners are just chosen, and sometimes it might not be given at all. "The Simpsons" voice actors (or some documentary narration) have dominated this category in the past.

"North By North Quahog" got nominated for Best Animated Series. The only other eligible episodes were "Blind Ambition" and "Fast Times at Buddy Cianci High".

Great episode.

Stewie and doodie-filled diaper. And their Winona Ryder was spot-on, too.

It was a pretty funny episode that got quite a few laughs out of me. My favourite moments included Asian Trix and:
"Pretend I'm your child"
<Joe starts slipping>
"Not Meg!"

The Evil Asian Monkey was a nice touch.
