Ha, I loved the surveillance footage of the "firing room" that Ted was supposed to duplicate (specifically, Barney climbing out from underneath the table with the woman and then her attacking him after a pause after every other fired person).

Also, Lily's efforts to guess the Canadian celebrity with the weird sex fetish and collection who Robin went home with was hilarious. And then, of course, the fact that it was Robin who whipped out the maple syrup and asked for the Old King Clancy. Heh.

Yay for Harvey's references. They do make an awesome burger.

Hmm... wasn't feeling it for this episode though the flashback with Robin at the end almost saved the episode.

I think Robin may be the funniest character on the show.

Besides that. Alright episode.

Just an all-around terrific episode.

Trailing a House repeat, How I Met Your Mother (7.4 mil) didn't deliver a very big bang in Sheldon and Leonard's time slot, dropping 20 percent from its last regularly-scheduled episode.

I haven't seen the show in a while but have they revealed the mother yet?

No, but apparently the title if the show is going to be "Addressed" by the finale or on the finale.

Great episode. Is HIMYM hated in Canada? They really poke fun at it.

No because the way they poke fun of it isn't insulting, at least not to me. The Harvey's reference was pretty great, and the accuracy of the jokes are really well done. I think Barney's little jokes about us in the last episode was typical stuff but whatever, still funny.

Another funny one tonight.

Barney in agony going through the Murtaugh list was priceless (he looked so ridiculous in his rave outfit).

I also liked Lily trying to counterbalance Marshall's aggression towards the kindergarten basketball team (their telepathic conversations returned!).

I was actually kind of amused how obvious it was this episode that Alyson was pregnant, she had a different prop in front of her stomach every time they showed her.

Really great episode.

Well, I guess Lily being outraged by the unheard punchline to Barney's "peanut butter and jam" joke was a convenient way to use Alyson Hannigan as little as possible, since I imagine her pregnancy was getting pretty impossible to hide by the time this episode was filmed.

Now everyone knows Barney loves Robin! Yay.

I continue to really like the Ted-Robin bonding, just as long as they don't actually get together again.

Also liked Marshall trying to find his niche in the office, and then his ploy to use PJ and get him away from Robin.

A good episode. Best part was when Marshall told Barney he and Lily try to sit together so Barney and Robin end up sitting next to each other, to which Barney delivered the cutest "Aww, really?"

Yeah, I wonder if Ted's voice-over comment about "And we didn't see Lily again for 4 weeks" is actually true... as in we won't see her for the next 4 episodes! I think it may be. It was reported that they shot the finale in January because of Hannigan's pregnancy, so maybe what they shot after that they couldn't shoot around her.

I heard, though, that Hannigan had her baby last week!

I love this show, but I wish I started watching from the beginning! I can't believe it is already in its 4th season. I dvred 3 episodes last night.

I watched the first 3 seasons of this show in like 2 weeks thanks to Raffi. He got me hooked. Season 4 has been a blast. I looooooooooove Barney/Neil Patrick Harris.

Isn't it like just the cutest thing ever? EVERY character is so awesome. I can never choose which one I love more, but lately it's been Robin, haha. I think her stuff is more unexpected when it happens so it's funnier.

This episode really reminded me of "The One Where Everybody Finds Out" from Friends, with Robin functioning as Joey.

I think my favorite part may have been Ted realizing that Marshall and Barney were actually the ones posing as Holly, and imagining them in the various poses (in the bath, looking at architecture magazines in cheerleading outfits, etc.). Hahaha.

Also, Ted's "naked lady laugh" was so Beavis and Butthead. Loved it.

Stan made my life. I loved him.

I didn't like that Lily wasn't in this episode at all. I mean, I know that couldn't have been avoided, but I feel like it threw off the dynamic a little bit with one member of the group not present.

Jesus inventing the 3-days rule...just brilliant.

Great episode. Lily was missed, but not as much as I expected.

3 day rule, the whole "Holly" and Holli thing, naked laugh - awesome.

Good episode - too reminiscent of the Friends episode Libs mentioned though, and that was one done a lot better.

I actually think it's another red herring, though. I'm guessing the mother is going to be someone Ted meets through Stella.
