This show is GOLD!!!!

Last night's episode was fantastic. It seemed like all the characters had some decent screentime... except Jenna ;)

Jenna's car crash line was good though. I loved Ken's Oz remark. The funniest moment of the last episode.

Thank god we have new eps of office. I'm going to try to watch the latest one later today.

Although I'm sure it will be awesome.

Harry and the Henderson may have been the best reference I've ever seen in a comedy

just as brutal as last week. Michael is going to get fired. Maybe he'll record a CD like David Brent

So we've gotten Redd Foxx, Bill Cosby, and Lando Calrissian. God Bless 30 Rock.

I'm really not sure what could challenge it at the moment.

Really the only other shows that generate a chuckle from me are The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother, and I think the best they can hope for come Emmy's are nominations for Jim Parsons and NPH.

I can't believe How I Met Your Mother gets shut out of comedy series.

Granted, I don't watch any comedy outside these three (Mother, Office, 30Rock), but Mother was way funnier than than The Office last year and there is really no comparison this year.

The Office was great again, woo. I'm really liking S5 a lot. It's not at S2 heights but it's up there in terms of favorite seasons so far. Angela and Kelly being crazed over the new boss was enjoyable and the scene when Jim noticed the new boss (I'll remember his character name at some point) was watching him from the conference room--then through the blinds--was funny stuff. I find it amusing when Jim's pranks and occasionally ass-kissery backfire completely.

As for 30 Rock, I knew it wasn't going to happen but I came so close to being free of Tracy and Kenneth, so close...

The stuff with the pretty person bubble was good and Liz's Jack voice was mighty humorous. I especially enjoyed the "wear better clothes" part. Also, I guess it probably wouldn't work if the gay guys who gave up their court for hot doctor (ha, Scrubs flashback) weren't so obviously gay but why the overly queeny stuff? I'm sure some of--or a lot of, or all of--that is an issue I have with so many actual gay people, though, so I guess it's not entirely fair to hold it against 30 Rock.

30 Rock was just good. Not the best series ever produced. HIMYM and Weeds are leagues better and funnier than 30 Rock.

Think for the first time in a long time The Office was better than 30 Rock.

30 Rock was OK/Good and what was the deal with Liz's boyfriend being so attractive that even strangers bend over backwards for him.

Isn't he basically just average looking to maybe just alittle better? But nothing close to be drop dead!!!

And on the Office, so much better when Michael isn't in charge so that his stupid ideas are confronted by someone rather than him just getting his way.

and how stupid his hissy fight about going to NY and then tossing, really rolling the chair in disgust as he was leaving for NY....

and LOL at Jim, really funny how he kept on putting his foot into his mouth

and wasn't Jim offically made #2 when he came back to the office by Jan?

I'm confused. What is the issue exactly?

30 Rock was pretty good, not all the the subplots worked but it was a nice episode. The Office this week for me was one of the season low points, not funny and not convincing dramatically. They spent weeks explaining to us that the Scranton branch was doing well so why would they be under the gun all of a sudden? Bad arc planning. Elba seems like a good actor but miscast. And why didn't Jim take off his bowtie and maybe even his tux jacket? That made no sense.

Everyone in the office wears a suit and tie so Jim not having a jacket would look wierd AND wearing just a tuxedo shirt would look wierd and different also.

Just because the office is doing well, they still need corporate or regional oversite ( In the past it was Ryan and Jan ).

and why do you like the past shows where Michael is the boss and his stupid ideas don't get questioned.

I also thought lots of good jokes at Dwight's expense, Jim having to work harder pleasing the new boss and like Michael having to jump through hoops. Plus Michael having another boss.

seems like a lame joke Michael Scott would tell.

I liked the Jerry Maguire moment in The Office.

30 Rock's sex line scene (Bijou) was hilarious. The rest, just okay though it had Muppets which is always a bonus.

Great Office Episode!!!

but Michael sure is no Jerry McGuire.....POOR POOR PAM!!!!!

Didn't understand why Michael didn't want Dwight....perfect lacky

Surprised and Disappointed that Michael didn't go to the warehouse to try to steal paper/recruit Darryl....that would have been funny.

and a mistake in the script, the guy who came in to interview said he was interviewing for Regional Director, not Branch Manager.

Also, surprised he went with Stanley on the job of motivating the office....bad decision/reverse racism???/and a big slap to Jim???

and Kevin on the phones, what a joke....horrible decision.
