Sorry, Archie. I usually read what's posted, and watch the clips, but don't comment.

Anyway, the episode looks pretty good. I'm anxious to see it.

From entertainment weekly, the producers of Lost and The Office each envision how they'd do the other show.

Goooood episode. :)

I didn't find the Asian waitress thing particularly hilarious, but everything else, yes.

I agree for the most part, but Michael marking her arm was hilarious.

Very good episode on Thursday. I wouldn't say it was as good as last year's Christmas episode, but still pretty good nonetheless. I also completely forgot that Ramis directed. There wasn't really anything special from him, but that wasn't required. I hope he ends up doing the commentary for the DVD.

I also loved the ending with Dwight on the roof thinking the CIA was trying to contact him. That was pretty good.

I can't say for sure but it's my impression that Harold Ramis wasn't hired to put a unique stamp on it visually or to be a selling point, he is just a fan of the show and wanted to be a part of it. I did see one little interview where Greg Daniels said that Ramis sat in on the script sessions and contributed a bunch of jokes. It was a good episode overall, slightly heavy handed with Jim's rebound speech but good. I loved Dwight slamming the door in Andy's face and Ryan's list of excuses and telling Jim to wake up.

The last episode before this, the one with the convict, was directed by the director of the acclaimed documentary Spellbound.

Here are deleted scenes.

There's a line in the third one that really cracked me up, wish it had been left in.

Great episode. I love the little moments, like when Pam gave Toby the bathrobe at the end. Although, I still don't see how it's possible that Dwight could take the robe from Toby like that.

Because Toby is a pushover. And he's the person that people would complain to if something like that happened, so who is he going to complain to?

Hmm. Well, that would take it to 18 episodes. I did hear that there will be 25 episodes this season. Is that true? That would leave 7 eps for March till May, with 4 of those likely airing in May.

Yeah I read somewhere that there were 25 episodes this season.

By the way I got the above info about the stretch of new ones from the actor who plays kevin's blog, here's what he specifically said: "So tomorrow night. Be there. It should be a doozy. And don't quote me on this, but I think there will now be 7 - 8 episodes in a row, uninterupted. I may be wrong. But I also may be right. And wouldn't it be more fun to be right."

so interpret that how you want, it was a little confusing.

A mediocre episode. Far funnier than anything else on tv, and I was laughing the whole time, but mediocre for The Office.

Yep.

Nothing special tonight, I thought. But it was good to have it back.

It was good, but it was predictable that Jan wouldn't hear about the pic. If she did, I don't think there would be a chance in hell that Michael would keep his job.

For some reason a lot of the people who make this show like to talk about it and one of the most interesting people is the prop guy who has a myspace page where he describes making props, and it's an interesting insight into the business. In his last blog though he gave a hint about events during February sweeps coming up, he didn't say anything specifically but he said [spoil]there will be "big, big changes".[/spoil]

WOW

I think Dwight will still be in every episode. They're not that dumb. They'll show him through Angela or something. He'll be back me thinks.

He'll definitely still be in every episode, and he's definitely hired back by the end of the season.

I think this actually spells the end of Andy more than Dwight. He took out Dwight in 5 episodes, he's gonna go after Jim next.

It was funny seeing Jim be a jerk for once. Also, maybe it's that I'm an old fogey but Angela was hot.

First of all, Jim is always a jerk. But only to Dwight, so it's ok. Second, when was he a jerk in this episode?
