What do you think Family Guy's ratings will be tonight? On the one hand, it's summer. On the other hand, the only non-rerun airing at the same time is the Tony's, which targets a completely different demographic. I think over 10 million viewers is possible.

The show just keeps on surprising me... awesome!

Well the repeats from last summer averaged about 7 million... so around 10 million is a possibility!

According to TVTracker, Family Guy got 7.2 million viewers (#3 in it's time slot) and was the #1 show among 18-49ers for the night.

I figured a Meg episode would suck, but it was great. I loved when Peter, Quagmire, Joe and Cleveland were all going to start playing, and Peter said "Holy crap, we don't know any songs!". And, I don't know why, but there was something funny about that cow. "Every night, I go to Baskin Robbins and get myself a treat!".

New episode this sunday. I couldn't find a summary, but the title is "The Cleveland-Loretta Quagmire". Judging from the title, the creators are branching out and making more episodes focusing on characters besides the Griffins.

First time this season. First episode was about Peter and Lois, second about Chris, third about Peter, and the last episode about Meg. I actually don't really mind when the secondary characters remain just secondary and supporting characters. Most of the time, they're better in the small doses. That's what ruins the good supporting characters on The Simpsons, when they do episodes for Moe, Apu, Smithers, etc. I'm not knocking the episodes like that, I just think the smaller characters should almost always stay in the supporting roles, and not take center stage.

Then again, it's Family Guy. It'll be great either way.

I was wondering that, too. Is it going to be strictly away from Griffins, with them playing background characters, or will they be very prominent? There have been a few episodes about other characters, but usually they've still played secondary characters.

He reminded me of Christopher Guests's character in "Waiting for Guffman". Was that intentional?

I also liked Cleveland and Quagmire as the wild and crazy guys, along with conehead Peter.

Also, Cleveland's last name is revealed to be Brown. That joke works on so many levels. Actually, just two.
