Mr. Inc wrote: Question. I've started season 1, because I had never gotten into the show. I'm only 3 episodes in, I get the gist of what's goin go on the island would I be confused if I watched the season 4 premiere tonight? If you asked me, I'd say DO NOT watch the season premiere until you've watched every single previous episode. Trust me, the pay-off will be HUGE!!!! Finish all 3 season this weekend (lol), then watch the premiere on abc.com Then again, the advertising blitz for this season premiere has been so spoiler-filled, I wonder if anyone can actually watch the first 3 seasons and not know where it's going.

Then you'll turn left and go through a narrow almost tube-like passage way, one that goes above a miniscule passageway that you may have tried to go through but failed.

I actually got it a couple hours ago. Then I did the Black Rock one... and so I guess we won't be seeing Sam on the show. I didn't get the ending though... what did he find? And there's still another "?" in Chapter 5.

Re: The 'Lost' Thread (Season 4)
Yeah, the ending was kind of anti-climatic. I was hoping for some crazy shit, instead it was just like, oh, he found 815. Don't even know whether Sonjya is one of the unnamed islanders, though I'm guessing she isn't, assuming they searched the plane and found a dead body. And we don't know wtf the Maxwell Group was, maybe they'll come up on the show.
It's also weird they would find the plane and not see the island right next to it. Unless this is the planted plane the parachute girl found?

I'm watching the recap, and creepy voice aside, it's been interesting.

It's hard to imagine them killing off Sun, Jin or Claire ever, and we know Jack, Kate and Hurley escape some day.

Kinda felt like they were forcing Hurley into a lead role.
Good besides that though. Can't wait till next week.

I enjoyed it. As to Hurley being like the leading guy, everyone seems like the leading person in their flashback/flashforward episode.

Re: The 'Lost' Thread (Season 4)
A little too much manufactured drama and it started off kinda wonky, but it was solid. The end of the flash-forward was pretty great. Oh, and the Oceanic Six are.... Jack, Kate, Hurley, Jin, Sun and Sayid.

Lost is back I loved Hurley's Jacob/Charlie hallucinations, as well as the Jack and Locke split-off at the end.

Sayid has Nadia to find.
Jack just wants off
I'm guessing that Kate is pregnant. That's the "him" she has to get back to referenced in Through The Looking Glass.
I'm guessing that Desmond and Juliet go but were not on Oceanic Flight 815. I sense a bigger role for Bernard and Rose this season. They either change their mind or perish?

Re: The 'Lost' Thread (Season 4)
Does the six include the character in the coffin in last season? Those rumor names don't really fit what we saw. Also I think that some of the characters are going to get stuck on the island. It is why Charlie was telling Hurley they need to go back to save them.

Re: The 'Lost' Thread (Season 4)
Oceanic 6 is not automatically everyone who got off the island. Just the people who got famous from it. I think.
I didn't just make up those names, I got them from a spoiler site.

Re: The 'Lost' Thread (Season 4)
I think there are only 6 who actually get off the island. I don't think they would call it Oceanic 6 if more than that got off the island. I don't think Kate (for example) will necessarily seek fame based on the fact she is a fugitive (how she gets out of that, who knows). It's my theory that the 6 leave on the boat at some point and then they are cut off from the island. I would imagine the secret is that there are MORE than 6 survivors. This is why Jack asked about the reveal... this is why the guy asking if there were more survivors was shocking to Hurley... this is why Hurley denied knowing Ana-Lucia... Meaning... Unless any non-Oceanic people (like Ben) come with them... it must be Sayid in the casket

Greeeeat episode. I love the questions that are being asked for this season, very interesting stuff. Did not expect Hurley to have this episode.

Re: The 'Lost' Thread (Season 4)
GREAT premiere!
There were enormously high expectations set for this premiere, expectations that you just can't avoid after 9 months of no new episodes and an advertising blitz no one can escape from. Bottom Line: Expectations met and fulfilled.
Of course, very little was answered and about 3 dozen more questions were raised but that was the point. I was impressed with the direction the show is taking. With this single episode, they basically changed the structure and direction of Lost. The focus has come back to the characters and the relationships that have come about. It's become a mystery game: who gets off the island, how they get off the island, why they get off, why others don't get off, etc.
I was very satisfied and can't wait till the next episode.

Re: The 'Lost' Thread (Season 4)
I think Sawyer is going to die by the end of the show, before he leaves the island. I get the sense he is the one guy rejecting the redemption of the island by turning more and more into a killer, and the island will punish him for it... Maybe deciding to stay with Locke will give him brownie points, but I dunno. It would make sense with why he never came back though.

That was quite enjoyable, especially since I've learned to endure this shows cock teasing nature for awhile now.
