Ausiello also mentions John Krasinski as being on his dream Emmy ballot.
How awesome would it be to see him get a nomination?

I just remembered that there are supposed to be webisodes this summer. Anyone know if any are out yet? And where to watch them?

I'd just check NBC.com now and then, I'm sure they'll announce it when the time comes. They are only 2 or 3 minutes long though, hardly worth the effort to make them.

The first 2 (of 10) webisodes have been posted. Once a week (Thursday), another will be added, until Season 3 starts.
Warning: they're only two minutes tops. There's not much to them. So, don't have high hopes. They're decent, but don't expect more than "The Accountants" of The Office.

I'm surprised how not good they are and my expectations were not high.

I think they should have scrapped the webisodes idea entirely. I wasn't really anticipating them at all.

Two new cast members have been announced.
1) Ed Helms who most of you will remember from The Daily Show. Seems like a good choice I guess.
2) Rashida Jones, daughter of Quincy Jones and Peggy Lipton. I saw Rashida in a bbcamerica miniseries called LD-NY and she is a decent actress and attractive. I'm surprised at her being on the Office, she will stand out a lot, since in the things I've seen her in she came across as very "posh", and I can't imagine what they are casting her as. What do you all think they are going to do with her?

Hm. I don't know. Maybe she'll just be... a new employee?
But Ed Helms is awesome. Great choice. (Is he leaving The Daily Show?)

Yeah I assume she'll work there but perhaps as upper management is all I can figure. She doesn't look like an accountant or a loading dock worker. Who knows of course, they will probably surprise us in some way. Maybe she will be married to Ed Helms, if they are adding both at the same time. That would be cool actually.

Oh wait, Jim was in the middle of transferring to Stamford wasn't he? We all just assumed he cancelled that with the kiss, but maybe he does move at least temporarily. That would explain how to fit in two new people easily.

As much as I love Ed Helms coming to The Office, this means TDS is losing both Ed Helms and Rob Corddry.

Where is Rob Corddry going?
edit: Ahh the TV series "The Winner". That looks like a loser, seriously, he'll be done with that in 6 months.

She looks like...
Christine Taylor...slash...Maggie Gyllenhaal. Or something.
By the way.

Has anyone else been watching the webisodes? The first couple of them were rather blah, but the past couple of weeks have been really good. I mean, for a 3 minute little thing.

I watched them all in a row the other day, they are short and went fast. They did seem to get better as it went along.
What I'm wondering is with 3 new cast members, two of whom probably would only come aboard for sizeable parts (helms and jones), won't that squeeze out the main regulars? The show is only 21 minutes long each week, minus commercials.
I think a lot of people tune in to mainly see jim/dwight/pam/michael, and that will be lessened.

Adding cast members is a bad idea, unless regulars leave.
I'll watch the webisodes later. I only watched the first two, and they weren't very good at all.
Edit: Watched them. There's good reason why The Accountants are secondary characters. Much better and funnier in small doses. The only webisode I liked was "Someone in the Warehouse".

Some video interviews with the cast.

Also, Mr X and others might be interested to know that the actress who plays Pam says she had auditioned for the role of Sydney Bristow back when Alias was first starting and was turned down because they said she was "not hot enough."
