Typical brown overachiever.

I've never seen House, did Kumar kill himself in grand fashion?

No, he shot himself off-screen. Or so we were told.

It was sorta like when we learned that Poochie died on the way back to his home planet.

honestly that was a very poorly written episode. They've known for quiet some time he was leaving. I feel they could have written a better send off.

Also didn't Taub and Kutner once talk about suicide and how Kutner didn't agree with it? I couldn't be wrong.

Yup, and also there was that death episode, Amber?, where everyone was shaken and Kutner was eating pizza and watching tv uneffected. He seemed balanced overall.

Also, I think rather than a suicide, it could have been some random or other death.

Maybe even a robber shots Kutner and then House has to weigh getting even or even torture to get information. That could have been so cool!!!! Dark House.

It was Taub who said he was against suicide because he attempted it. I think he should have at least appeared in the episode at least in the beginning. I have no problem with no explanation because a lot of suicides have no explanation. Even TV can't show the thoughts and emotions insides someone's head.

on the Taub hate by House the last couple of weeks, I am wondering if the writers went overboard to trick us that it was Taub who was going bye bye.

I guess I'm the only one who liked the episode and how they handled Kutner's death? I thought it was well-done. And we got two deaths for the price of one episode! Is this the first time someone died on House since Amber? I'm including patients here. We usually get a patient death here and there.

I think everyone would've been complaining about how predictable it was that Taub killed himself if he did. It might have been more well-written, but still... people would've shouted "Predictable!"

The only thing I could have used less of was the cold blue filter over every scene. That wasn't necessary to make the episode a downer.

I liked the episode myself, I only thought they should have had show Kutner early in the episode leaving and not coming back.

I know it won't happen....especially with him in the White House.

But there is an easy way for him to come back to the show, maybe even as a 1 show guest/patient.

He could come on as a "sick" Kumar and/or Kutner's unknown twin brother....and everyone would be freaked out with the likeness.

Well they could pull an Amber and make him appear in House's mind.

that's possible also - can you imagine if Kutner talked to House from a White House podium - but I also still want Kumar on the show.

Let's do all 3 of the above and really play/screw with House's head.

Saw this in a tv guide interview....

Was that Penn playing dead when Foreman and Thirteen discovered Kutner's body?

Yes. Penn says the director "wanted it to be as authentic as possible, so that [Omar Epps and Olivia Wilde] were fully in that moment."

Interesting since you guys know that
Spoiler: show
Amber is supposed to return. I wonder if it's from flashbacks or House's head

Maybe she is a ghost during the Christmas show, where all of the ghosts are connected to House. Could be dead or alive people.

So it was nice to see Colleen Camp again. I loved Clue and she graduated from my high school, lol.

Hm, I think it's very likely that she's going to be both, maybe a flashback and then in a little bit he starts seeing her around as an apparition or something and it bothers House.

I guess we see how Amber is coming back, House is going to hallucinate her. The next episode looks priceless especially with the strippers lol. I am surprised Chase and Cameron are getting married honestly since they broke up in real life. I guess they have become friends again at least.

Last night's episode was so much less depressing than the Kumar suicide episode, and in turn, significantly better.

They actually gave Cameron and Chase material and screen time! Their proposal scene was really nice. I wonder if it's awkward for Jennifer Morrison and Jesse Spencer to act those scenes out since they were formerly engaged in real life, but maybe they've become friends since.

CUTTHROAT BITCH IS BACK. As a hallucination. But still. HELLS YEAH.

Hopefully Amber wouldn't turn out like... Denny in Grey's, lol.

That said, Anne Dudek totally deserved guest/supporting actress nominations with her work (part-ghost, part-living) in Season Four's finale. She would have been a shoo-in if this was a procedural that aired on NBC, heh.

Press releases for the final 3 episodes, starting April 27:

Spoiler: show
"Monday, April 27 HOUSE (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) 'House Divided'
A deaf 14-year-old named Seth (guest star Ryan Lane) collapses after 'hearing' explosions while competing in a wrestling match and is brought to Princeton Plainsboro. When Seth loses vision in one eye and his condition worsens, the team faces an ethical dilemma involving his mother's (guest star Clare Carey) adamant decision to forego cochlear implants. Meanwhile, House's (Hugh Laurie) lack of sleep starts to play tricks on his mind, but he finds insomnia may be a gift instead of a burden."
"Monday, May 4 HOUSE (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) 'Under My Skin'
House and the team take on the case of a ballerina (guest star Jamie Tisdale) whose lungs collapse in the middle of a performance. When the treatment causes her skin to fall off, the dancer faces not only the prospect of never dancing again but also of dying an agonizing death. The team must use their imaginations to carefully choreograph ways to test and treat her delicate body without killing her. Meanwhile, House continues to suffer from what he thinks is insomnia, and he is willing to go to desperate measures to cure it."
"Monday, May 11 HOUSE (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) 'Both Sides Now' Season Finale
House and the team are intrigued by Scott (guest star Ashton Holmes), a man whose left brain and right brain operate independently, leaving him with two distinct personalities and no control over some of his actions. As the two sides of Scott's brain struggle for dominance, his warring personalities make it increasingly difficult for the team to figure out what is causing the unique problem. The team is forced to use some unusual methods to get him to cooperate with their necessary testing. Meanwhile, when House refuses to make an appearance in the clinic, Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) takes an unconventional approach to force House to make up the time with a particular patient (guest star Carl Reiner)."

Too good of a character to just let slip away IMO, especially since she was tied to Wilson who's really House's only friend.
