Holy. Crap. Was that ever epic. Yes the F/X were hit and miss, but regardless the deaths were fantastic. I knew who died and I was still surprised. The ending was, wow. Best episode of the season, and Teri Hatcher could be getting another nod.

Great episode! Victor's death (even though I knew he was dying) came out of nowhere. So I guess the other person dying is Ida or could it be one of the Scavos?

Dana Delaney adds so much darkness to the show. Her Katherine is now my favorite character on Wisteria Lane. Bree will always be my true love but her character is just a bit bland these days. Although, she had a hilarious line today: "I have some antibacterial soap you can use."

This was more of a hurricane than a tornado, so that kinda ticked me off. Tornadoes are more spontaneous and unpredictable, totally contrary to what tonight's episode turned out to be. There were some great moments, but overall, I don't understand why they had to go with a tornado theme. It really wasn't necessary. Unless... everything goes in a different direction now, which was implied.

The next episode will be the deciding factor on how I feel about tonight. Shame we have no idea when that will air. But nevertheless, an amazing short season this year. Enough to still make it my favorite show.

That would be SO brave of the show if they killed Tom or if only two or three of the kids survived. But it'll probably only be the old woman. Lame. That's what the spoilers said before, but they could always change it. This was the last episode written/filmed before the strike. I think.

Didn't this show jump the shark after the FIRST season?

The next episode was completed, but they are holding off on airing it until some progress is made strike-wise.

Obviously not, if we're still discussing it.

Now can you stop posting in here if you have nothing valuable to contribute?

Didn't this past episode have a TORNADO?!

I would call that jumping the shark

But it was handled pretty well. Really, the tornado itself didn't become a factor until the last 10 minutes. If they hadn't handled it as well as they did, yeah, probably would've been jumping the shark. Natural disasters usually are jumping the shark.

I'm I a bad person for hoping one of the Scavo kids is dead?

THE TWINS!! I hate them. Worst child actors of all-time. The only two I kinda like are the oldest one and Tom's lovechild daughter.

Honestly, I was a little let down after all the build up. The Chicago reveal was pretty lame but it helped that Katherine didn't know the whole story.

The last like 30 seconds were amazing though. My heart just sank. I wasn't expecting that but, like Sam, what actually happens after will probably determine how much I really liked it. I think Ida will probably die but man it will be so dark and sooooo good if one of the kids die (you know what I mean).

It's so sad that Susan is up to her A game but her storyline is being run into the ground. They need to do something and quick!!

It would be interesting if Carlos really loses that money but I bet they somehow find the papers/info or Edie memorized the instructions/info when she looked at the papers.

I saw this episode. My guess: Gabby searches the neighborhood for the papers and in the process finds a missing Scavo kid, probably alive but injured.

I'm pretty certain I read that ABC had 10 episodes ready, which means we still have 1 left technically. It would be sad for the show to go into a long hiatus while the show is the strongest its ever been since season 1.

now i hope 1 of the kids died, it will make things very interesting and technically they still have that option. it could be awhile before we see a fresh episode.

I thought it was pretty lame that Lynette imposed herself on McClusky like that, basically begging to stay in her basement, and then she lets Ida's cat go into the tornado because Loser Tom is allergic. It's not even an issue of what's more important. She basically told McClusky that she and her family were staying in McClusky's basement, then she got rid of Ida's pet. I don't know, that kinda ruined part of the show for me. They could've written a much better reason for Lynette and McClusky to end up elsewhere.

Victor's demise was very "movie villain death"-ish.

Everything leading up to the tornado was great. The tornado itself was lame (plus Lynette's odd rudeness).

The only good thing about the disaster was Sylvia's hilarious death, like the cow from Twister.

Victor was the "husband" to die as Mary Alice foreshadowed. The "friend" could be Ida? She is McCluskey's friend after all.

It was lazy writing to have him come back to life, then die AGAIN.

Good riddance though, lol.

A better storyline: Victor stays dead/missing. Gabby and Carlos get engaged. Their marriage takes place in the finale. Just as they're about to be married (or just after they're married), Victor makes his return, accuses Carlos and Gabby of murder, Carlos takes the fall and goes to jail, and that's the finale.

But no. They just had to kill him, bring him back, and kill him, all in about three episodes.

That wouldn't be better, considering it would mean...Victor comes back eventually. Considering how he was simultaneously dull and annoying, I'm glad they actually killed him off.

Well... yeah. But, it just seemed like a gold mine to leave Victor dead/missing, so everyone would think that he'd be back at some point. Doesn't mean he had to come back this soon. Just some other time. Or never. Just leave him "missing".

Victor "missing" wouldn't have solved much, as the death did. He was psychotic and quite annoying and hopefully this is his final "death". Lynette's scream at the end has been playing on and on in my head, it was fantastic. If one of the kids "died" it would be good (not like yay someone died, but in a storyline way) because McClauskye's friend is kinda lame, because no one cares about her really. Oh this season is so good, this strike needs to end now.

Heh, there's no way of him reviving after pretty much getting skewered by a picket.

ANyway... if Sylvia got swept by the tornado.... Carlos (who was knocked out on his front door) and Victor's body would've been swept too, lol. I'm guessing they stayed there.
