About a day after yoshue's attempt to get everyone to kill themselves, Michael Ausiello of TV Guide has said that ABC has renewed Pushing Daisies for a full season.

Awesome! No bullshit script orders. A real full season of 22 episodes.

Not a surprise. I don't know why people were getting so scared of this getting scraped. When last weeks ratings came, and it came close to 10M viewers, I knew it would get one full season at least.

I think we're cautiously optimistic when it comes to such a good show. We've all seen certain awesome shows get second or third chances (Veronica Mars, Arrested Development, 30 Rock to an extent), and we've all seen awesome shows get axed after less than a season.

Good episode tonight. It's not quite as good as the first three episodes, but it's still good nonetheless.

Some mild spoilers:

Spoiler: show
It's sorta explained why Digby and Ned never touch, even though dogs generally jump all over you. Some will probably think of it as lazy writing, but it's not all that unbelievable, considering the show is about a guy who brings back dead people.

It's not fair that you get to see it a day early.

It's completely fair! :D We also get Gossip Girl a day early. And there's a few shows (Private Practice, Grey's Anatomy, The Office) that we get an hour or two earlier than the US, but that's not as cool as getting a show a day early.

For the week of Oct 8-14 it finished 30th nationally with 896,000 viewers. Number one was House with 2,993,000 viewers. Survivor is still number 4 here.

Yeah, I as well thought this was the weakest of the four, still good and plenty watchable, but just not as good as the first three episodes.

Funny, it might've been my favorite episode so far, though I didn't see all of 2.

You know you're good when you can take two totally one episode characters, stick them in a room, and make a totally dynamite couple scenes. That's all I'll say for now.

Oh and Olive sings again by the way. I didn't see it the first time, so yay.

I totally thought Olive was about to start singing TMBG. I would have made a sacrifice to Fuller if she had.

Edit: Sacrifice is coming soon.

The quality of each episode is surprisingly consistently great, I hope it keeps it up.

And a  for the full season pick-up... whoo.

Dude hearing a reference to They Might Be Giant's Birdhouse in Your Soul is so sacrifice worthy.

I hope they do a Christmas-themed episode. We'd be in for some wonderful visuals. Not to mention cheer!

I have no doubt Pushing Daisies will restore my belief in The Baby Jesus.

I think I will have to sacrifice my sister, who says she hates PD. I've already disowned her. But, despite hating it, she made her boyfriend watch it and he's in love with it, so maybe I should keep her around.

I'm getting around to all the TV I missed

Wednesday's episode was <3

I would seriously grade all four episodes of this show with an 'A' grade. I can't remember the last show I would do that for.

Strike Doom and Gloom

Long-running shows like NBC’s “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” are likely to stay in original episodes longer because they are further ahead in production than new programs like ABC’s “Pushing Daisies.”

What it really means is winter hiatus will definitely start the first week of December and end the first week of February. Which will suck, but it's only about two weeks longer than usual. They've probably written at least through 13, and hopefully a bit further, since they've had the order for a week, nearly, and can continue to write until Thursday. When November sweeps are up, they'll have gone through 8 episodes, and probably have enough scripts written to continue production through 14 or 15, which, if they start airing again in Feb, will be about six weeks, which is usually how long shows last before the spring hiatus. Let's just hope the strike doesn't last too long, though I have a feeling the studios are going to start to really feel the burn before budging on anything.
