Re: The 24 Season 7 Spoiler Thread
Christian wrote: http://community.tvguide.com/blog-entry/TVGuide-News-Blog/Todays-News/Kiefer-Sutherland-Open/800045039?rssDate=12345678 So Kiefer is open for film after the series is over. But this is the most interesting part of that article: Quote: "We've just finished [the season]," Sutherland, 41, said. "Arguably, I think it's the best thing we've done to date." That quick? Last time I checked (maybe a month or so ago) it was around episode 14/15 Most likely TV Guide misinterpreted Kiefer. He probably meant they finished the prequel. Probably, but I'll be ecstatic if Season 7 is the best thing they've done. I think they're all aware of the crapfest that Season 6 was, after episode 5 or 6 (Episode 4 is still up there in the best 24 has done... but even that couldn't save the rest of the awful season). That gives me hope that they actually tried this time around.
Heck, I'll be happy if Season 7 is as good as Season 3. I always thought S3 was their lackluster year, but by comparison, the season was really good.

Well, it's not like he's gonna say "we really brought the suck for this season. Hope you'll watch!".

Maybe he did in fact bite his tongue because of the quality and now he really believes he's made something really really good.

So that means they're figuring out how to include Kim for the final hours?

I really like when Kim is in there because it gives Jack some depth as a character and it gives him a human side. He's not just a mindless killing machine, and having his daughter around there proves that.

I hope they aren't concocting a way to kill off Kim. There's only so much a man can suffer.

I hope they can actually give Kim something to do other than get chased by cougars.

Re: The 24 Season 7 Spoiler Thread
I read in TV Guide Jon Voight has joined the cast to play a major role in the last half of the season. I am guessing he will be the villain for this season.

Well that explains the rewrites, they probably liked hi role so much in the movie they wanted to add him in.

Re: The 24 Season 7 Spoiler Thread
So, 24 finally returns this Sunday with the usual 2-night, 4-hour premiere.
I finally watched 24: Redemption today. Despite the fact that nothing substantial really happened (it's essentially Jack stalling the inevitable for two hours and finally returning to the US), I thought the whole thing easily trumped everything from Season 6, except for that one episode. You know the one. It was really, really good. Nothing that we've really seen from 24 before which was nice. I'll be glad to be back in the 44-minute episode environment soon, but it was nice to see how a movie might work.

Re: The 24 Season 7 Spoiler Thread
Yeah I'll be watching 24 this season. Let's just hope it rebounds from season 6, which was one of the most disastrous, inexplicable downturns of any television show in recent memory. I mean, the show hasn't been on the air since May 2007 so I would hope they've had time to get it right.

I'm puuuuuuuuuuuumped.
I'm more psyched for 24 than Lost this year. Who knew?

Yes Today is the day. I actually read a Review at IGN the other day and they gave the 1st 2 episodes a 8.4 rating out of 10. So It looks like it will be a solid start to the Season lets hope it will be better than Season 6.

Re: The 24 Season 7 Spoiler Thread
I wonder how many times Jack will go rogue this year. I bet it's a bunch he seems to be good at that - and hanging up without saying goodbye.
