Yeah, last night's leg was really poorly planned, considering nothing anyone did the entire made made any difference.

And, yes, the "bad weather" forcing Charla and Mirna's delay was suspicious and probably manufactured by the producers or something, and this is coming from someone who doesn't like them.

Has there ever been such a ridiculous time difference between the first and last teams in a given leg?

The Guidos left fifteen hours after Charla and Mirna did.

And they're about to be stranded in Kilimanjaro with Eric & Danielle. Between that and Mirna & Charla and Danny & Oswald waiting at a travel agency for 7 hours while the BQs and Uchenna & Joyce pull ahead, that was the most awesome "Catching a flight" segment I've ever seen.

BQs come in first by what looks like a good margin, D&O break TWO piano strings, and M&C make big fools of themselves.

This is one of the most entertaining episodes in a while.

Rock it, BQs, coming in first way ahead of every other team.

I really, really need them to win, just because this show desperately needs an all-female team to do it. Not to mention the fact Bama has come the closest is just sad.

You don't like the Cha Chas? Bah.

I agree watching Charla and Mirna making fools out of themselves is entertaining, though.

No wonder this episode had to be 2 hours, BQs are starting the next leg before two other teams are even done with the previous one. Absolutely, insanely bad race planning.

Wow. For whatever reason I didn't think Auschwitz would be on The Amazing Race route.

Correction: Absolutely, insanely, entertainingly bad race planning. I'm lovin' it, even if it almost certainly seals up the final four, barring a crazy catch-up by Guido or E&D later on.

Oh, and I love Team Cha Cha, but that doesn't mean I didn't laugh at them breaking not just one, but TWO piano strings. I do love that they stuck with it successfully though. I also love U&C passing Charla & Mirna despite getting stranded in Frankfurt.

Interesting how the trip to Auschwitz was probably done to level all the teams out, yet two teams are STILL going to be well behind.

I just hope Guido pulls ahead of E&D.

I hope and pray they get stuck with Guido, the only team on the other bus that I can tolerate.

But that just blows.

Craziest. Episode. Ever.

If the BQs got booted entirely because of the crapass treatment from the Intersection, there would be no words for how frustrated I would be.

Well, Guido has the 30-minute penalty, so they're A-OK for this leg. IF they don't level off next leg though and it costs them, I WILL be pissed.

Though I should note my disappointment that they didn't really reflect on the visit to Auschwitz as much as the other teams. While they're good racers and afun to watch, they aren't exactly the brightest, sad to say.

It could've just been editing (I mean, we still heard them say some things, it may have just been condensed for time).

But, anyway. Go BQs!

Aw. Guidos.

I suppose, regarding Charla and Mirna, one could charitably say that...there's no one quite like them. Am I evil for laughing when Charla fell in her armor?

No. My sister actually felt worse for the poor confused horse.

Anyway, best episode of the season so far easily. My rankings of the final teams:

1. Dustin & Kandice
2. Danny & Oswald
3. Uchenna & Joyce
.
.
.
.
.
4. Eric & Danielle
5. Charla and Mirna

I have to say. This season isn't as bad as certain other seasons (like the awful one where BJ and Tyler won, or the infamous family edition) just because there's at least 2 or 3 teams left I actually actively like, but...

It might take the cake for the worst-planned race ever. Whose bright idea was it for a NEL, Intersection and Fast Forward all to be lumped together like that? Yuck.

Definitley putting my full support behind the BQs here. I think they can actually do it too. I think it's 80% certain that them or Danny and Oswold will win, U&J doing it twice would be crazy, and then Charla/Mirna and Eric/Danielle are just terribly unlikely with their race image so far.

Fast Forward was a horrible idea for this leg. Now three teams are way behind. I hope all five teams are caught up in the next episode.

Was that not the least suspenseful final ten minutes though? There was no way Team Guido wouldn't be eliminated by the penalty.

And I don't get the love for "Team Cha Cha". I don't even know why they're called that! The tall, lanky guy (Danny?) looks incredibly cocky... no pun intended. He always has this look on his face that screams "Oh my god, I'm so superior to everyone", with his one eyebrow partially raised higher than the other eyebrow. The little guy's all right. Every so often, he just makes a funny face, and that's it.

Joyce has an incredibly small head in certain shots. She looks like Tony Shalhoub in Men in Black. It looks like her head just exploded, and she's just starting to grow it back.

That's because you're a weirdo and dn't like reality show contestants everyone else loves, like Stephenie (at least when she was awesome) and Cirie from Survivor.

I'm a smelly weirdo?

But I do like Melinda from AI. I like Earl, Yau-Man, and Cassandra on Survivor: Fiji. I liked Janelle and Will on Big Brother. And I even liked Stephenie before she came immensely popular. Then I wondered why she was so popular, and I didn't understand that either.

But Danny and Oswald are just okay. They're great players, but it's not like I'm entertained by them every week. I hate to say it, but I'm more entertained by Charla and Mirna than Danny and Oswald.

I think it was done for a Very Special Amazing Race Passover Episode. ;)

I think I'd just break down if I was there.

Another badly planned leg. The BQ's start at 10:54 PM, Guidos start 16 1/2 hrs later on the last leg, but wait due to some well time interference by the producers the bus departure times are changed to 1pm and 5 pm from the originally planned 8am and noon. A team with a 16 1/2 hr lead over last place through no fault of their own is with the intersection and bus changes penalized 16 1/2 hrs. Thats not good TV thats ridiculous. Their pathetic attempts to cover up a disasterously planned and executed so called all star season are laughable.

Same as the end, if you are going to try to create suspense and the possibility of teams overtaking Charla/mirna don't keep showing the road behind her walking the horse with no-one on it or approaching them. They saw them at the start but it then took 1/2 to dress in the armour and never saw them again.

Bring on Amazing Race Asia season 2 because this so called all stars is a joke. Amazing race asia was bar none the best amazing race EVER. After watching that exciting well run season maybe I'm tainted against this mediocre crap they are trying to pass off. And oh god I hate who wins this crap fest.
