 Re: Survivor: Cagayan
I mean, I don't really care. Because I don't watch anymore. But twice a year is a lot.
And I'm assuming it's Brain (Smart ugly people), Beauty (Atttractive women who are idiots), and Brawn (Buff dudes who are idiots)

I watched the preview for this. It's been years since I've watched the show but maybe I'll give it a go around this time (or until Morgan gets voted off).
Already don't like Spencer.

 Re: Survivor: Cagayan
I'm not really excited for BvBvB. Early episodes will rely entirely on "We're the brawn, we'll own this!" and "We're the brains, we have to work harder but we're determined!" and "This. Is. HARDER. Than I thought it would be."

 Re: Survivor: Cagayan
I dunno, though. Some of these people don't really seem to fit their types all that much. Garrett is on the Brains team but he's probably one of the buffest people there and Tasha, also on the brains team, used to be an NFL cheerleader.

 Re: Survivor: Cagayan
I adored the blindside of Garrett. I found him more grating than J'Tia, honestly.
Solid premiere, though the beauty team is fairly dull in regard to conflict, personality, etc.

 Re: Survivor: Cagayan
The Brains tribe. WHAT A HOT MESS. Voting out David first for some reason instead of J'Tia. J'Tia then singlehandedly causing them to lose the challenge. Garrett somehow being incredibly passive and incredibly dictatorial at the same time. J'Tia POURING OUT THE RICE. The women banding together and blindsiding Garrett (WITH A HIDDEN IMMUNITY IDOL IN HIS POCKET HE DIDN'T PLAY), leaving one guy in the tribe. WHAT DID I JUST WATCH.
That was a delightfully bizarre season premiere for Survivor.

 Re: Survivor: Cagayan
Awesome first episode. Garrett revealing at the end that he left his idol at camp floored me. Can't wait to see who uncovers that.

Oh Garrett. Why did you had to be so dumb? And while being in Brains team. Good premiere.

 Re: Survivor: Cagayan
The first three voted out are all men. Has that ever happened on this show before?
Too bad we didn't get to see more of Brice being a bitchy queen, I was enjoying it. The shadeful looks being thrown everyone's direction at this tribal council were pretty top notch.
Brains actually won a challenge! Legend J'Tia lives another day.

 Re: Survivor: Cagayan
J'Tia gets voted off. I'm sad that this rice dumpin', insanely bad at challenges hot mess is gone. On the other hand, I was about to scream at my TV if Tasha and Kass actually kept her instead of Spencer. I mean, come on, she basically caused them to lose two more challenges...the second one of which another team was TRYING to lose. Oy.
Tribal swap next week. Seems fast! BBB sure didn't last long.

 Re: Survivor: Cagayan
J'Tia was like that crazy black girl from one previous season. I can't remember her name. But I'm glad she's gone. I'm guessing it's time for a reshuffle.

 Re: Survivor: Cagayan
This season continues to deliver with another awesome episode. Complete with a good ol' #blindside.
I was weirdly happy for the three remaining misfits of the Brains tribe (Spencer, Kass, Tasha) that they ended up on a new tribe where they actually seem to be in a position of power. And that they won immunity. Who knew.
Cliff getting voted out was another twisty development. Good thing LJ didn't play his idol unnecessarily. And it was absolutely worth it for the look of horror on Lindsey's face when it happened. Epic reaction gurl.
Four men voted out (including two buff/athletic guys) and only one woman so far. Probst must hate this season.

Great switch-up - I love that Brains ended up together and in power. I was genuinely shocked when Cliff got voted out.

 Re: Survivor: Cagayan
It was funny how low Cliff's stool was. The guy was sitting on the floor basically. ANd I'm glad he got voted out. LJ seems like a better player. Good episode.

 Re: Survivor: Cagayan
Another solid episode! This season is just really fun for some reason.
LOL @ Lindsey quitting the game immediately at the first possible sign of trouble. Seriously? I didn't buy she pulled herself out because she was "afraid of what she would do" to Trish, she pulled herself out because she wanted to have control over her exit. What a slap in the face to people who actually want to play. Whatever.
Tony shouting out "top 5! top 5! top 5!" was really dumb. Why alienate your supposed ally Sarah like that? Especially when it looks like a merge next week with her SQUARELY in the middle of the decision on which side to go with.
Poor Alexis looked like an abused puppy after she was voted out. Probably the right call for the tribe, though. She almost definitely would've flipped and tried to go back to LJ and Jefra.

This season is missing something. I think maybe Blood vs. Water was too good; it spoiled me.

 Re: Survivor: Cagayan
Lindsay is a real loser. Trish isn't the nicest person on Survivor, but Lindsay definitely overreacted there. I'm fine with her quitting. She was a crappy player anyway.

I am glad Jefra survived. Sweet relief.
Fun tribal ceremony.
