THIS. This is why I hate the finale, it basically turned The Mother into a surrogate for Ted. And it was not fair, especially after the fucking epicness that was "How Your Mother Met Me". Why give us such a perfect episode revealing The Mother's journey if you're gonna kill her offscreen and act like she never happened in a matter of seconds?
