Actress Lauren Graham (Parenthood, Gilmore Girls) is adapting her novel "Someday, Someday, Maybe" into an hour-long TV series.

I haven't read this yet but it is on my list of books to read. I love Graham.

Should be something refreshingly different for that network.

Privileged kinda fits the same basic idea for the show. And there's always a chance CW changes the whole damn thing to try to sell it to teen girls. If Dawn was running the network I'd be sure of that. Pedowitz is really trying to broaden the CW appeal. And I'm thankful.
