Why not legalize heroin? Other opiates are legal. Heroin is no more harmful than the rest of 'em...really...it's just 'dirtier' because it's illegal.

What I'd like to know is how did the measure to label GMO foods get defeated in CA? How much money did the Food Lobby have to spend to brainwash voters into thinking it's a BAD idea to label foods made with genetically modified ingredients. It was because it was so poorly written. People voting Yes were voting on an idea but didn't pay enough attention to what the law itself would entail in terms of manufacturer to consumer cost increases and what would be included in labeling and what wouldn't be.
