I say we need a trailers dedicated forum, as like on BOM, i think its a good idea.

Dont duplicate everything, but we need a trailers forum, as the movies forum is TOO jam packed with too much stuff about movies.

There's ignored sticky thread by torrino where should be all the trailer links and such.

A trailer forum would be good IMO.

There probably wont be a trailer section.

What we can do is make a thread archive in the speakeasy, with a trailer section in there as well. And keep it updated. The trailer forum, like a rumor forum and all other movie related forums kills any kind of movie discussion happening in the general movie area and degrades it to nothing more than favorite this or that and battles .. which get tiring after a while.

I think one thread is not enough, but...

Can I create 3 threads?...One New/Rumors thread, one posters/pictures thread and one trailers thread? That would be a compromise...

I havent spoken to torrino exactly how the threads worked. Were they archives or what.

Personally, i think its kewl if you guys post up a seperate thread for everything and a single thread could be used for archiving the information. If we need 3 seperate threads, we'll see .. theres no point in too many stickies but I see the logic behind what you say as well ...

For now Lecter, if you feel the need to have a rumor thread archive, make one ... we'll sticky it at a later date : )

I didn't say you need to sticky them, Since the threads would be updated everyday, they would be bumped anyway, so no sticky needed.

What torrino meant was to just post all pics, posters, trailers and news in this one thread. This is something that I consider a bit confusing, to post all that stuff in one place. Three threads would be good and there is no need to sticky them, just to post a reminder somewhere in the rules, that all stuff like Posters, Pictures, Trailers and Rumors have to be posted in those threads....or something like that. Well, yeah.

I find that confusing as well.

If there are no stickies, then the thing is all good .. though I think it should be started by a non mod. Mods can mess with those threads in any case so its better its started by someone else so another person will have access to editing them and stuff.

I'd start them, but I am afraid of torrino breaking through the walls to lock them, hehe.
