1) How does it make sense that you'd take orders from dino?! When you ban someone it's not just about the person you ban but it involves everyone else on the forum as well who interacts with that person.

2) I clearly said in the first thread that one of the reason's for wanting to know details was not for dino's sake but so that all of the rest of us can be assured that justice has been served.

Did dino not pay the price for his warnings in April already with a banning?

Roid, I think this one is fine to stay open. As long as everyone still has valid questions and are very civil about the whole thing, then a healthy discussion about rulings and decisions can be achieved.

Well here you go. Its starting from May. I didnt count the one directed towards me and took that one out. Still its multiple times and the ban today would have counted as the fourth I believe

Dino is no different from any of the users on this site, so don't patronize and act like theres no victimization going on here.

Argos is much worse and hes banned banned for months. Not really the same situation. Its not like getluv gets banned alot so I cant see the Argos comparison. Like the warning system is set up for a reason but sometimes gets bypassed if the comments are very aggressive. Im not posting the above stuff to patronize it. Its just that Tim keeps making this thread up asking where he got the warnings from. Well there it is

He had 2 warnings from April. The last four including today were from May to right now. Also I dont see how you guys are villify someone who uses the report button. At least they seem to care for the nature of the forum

well that more than anything is ridiculous. what's the point of a warning system if there's no guidelines on what a warning "means"?! how is anyone to know when a warning is the punultimate one?!

it just seems so subjective when all day we curse at eachother and then it's left up to the mods to decide which to give warnings for. i think people are pretty good at self policing here and i think it should be moreso left up the community at large (not in singular or minority form) as to when bannings occur. this place is small enough that you could even have a poll for 24 hours to see if someone is deserving of a ban. i believe in moderator power for people who come on the forum at random times for the sole purpose of destruction, but i think the forum community should be allowed to rule the general policing of its members.

There is a difference between what getluv does and what Michael does.

Michael pokes fun at people for a living, and is known for joking.

getluv does it out of cruelty and to be a jerk.

because not all offenses are the same.

i do remember reading it in the rules. some offenses will get you banned immeadeately and obviously they are more lenient than others. i think it works best. not every warning should be treated the same way, because they simply are not.

Elementary school is exactly what's happening here. I'd expect something more adult and community based.

because I dont read Michael's thread most of the time. I usually monitor the Box office threads so whatever gets flagged, I glance at it. We have assigned mods for the Watercooler forums and they usually try their very best to sort things out as long but its difficult for them especially to Christian. Perhaps you feel the forums needs more mods, I could assign more of them

That is unfair to say because you can never know that for sure until you know someones character and that's very hard to do on the forum. Everyone should be treated equally.
