I have no problem with the german speaking thread, in fact more language threads the better. But i have a problem with posters using a language other than english, it's rude. Their balls are obviously too small .

Most english speaking boards have this rule for a reason.

there is no need for a rule like that. if people start speaking in a different language in a thread all of a sudden that derails the thread when others were already engaged in a discussion, the way i see it, i would consider it as a thread hijack or spam and thus, against the rules to begin with.

We were discussing a subject related to the main subject, incest. I'm merely incapable to express myself adequately in English, and the said words had to be said. Now, I'm fine with continuing in English.

I think we should have a rule against people posting like they never learned anything in school.

That you can't comprehend the reason doesn't mean that there was no reason.

and the thread hadn't been derailed. if the behavior had continued, i would have eventually left a message there asking people to engage in a discussion everyone can understand. however, it lasted a few posts after which it got back to the point.

we all hijack threads and thats fine .. it happens. if everyone is fine with the hijacking, thats cool. if people aren't and get it back to the topic it was originally intended to be, thats fine as well. in this case, the latter was accomplished.
