Informing everyone that Goldie has now been temp banned.

Following is the general reason:

Refusing to listen to admins and mods
Activity almost close to stalking

We all know about his history with Lecter now. While Goldie was given a fair chance just like everyone else, Lecter and company were told repeatedly to lay off him. Lecter agreed after some talk and since then, resorted to either engagin in intelligent discussion and PMing me and the mods everytime there was a problem.

Goldie was told on several (and thats an understatement) to lay off. He was later told to ignore Lecter, then ordered to ignore (which he said he will) and finally told repeatedly not to spite him.

Goldie has not siezed doing any of this. To the point that he has run out of chances.

If you're reading this Goldie, you have been banned for a period of 7 days. At the end of next Sunday, you will be allowed access again. When you come back, we expect you to

- Stop any kind of spiting against him.
- Whether Lecter starts a gazzilian threads or not, you will not follow him around and criticize even the most miniscule of statements from him that you think can be picked upon.
- You will avoid him
- If you have any issues personally with Lecter or his friends, you will do what Lecter does with us: PM.

Sounds good. Goldie is alright, he does contribute to the forums, but the stalking was getting ridiculous

Please do not make this a bash goldie thread.

Goldie is a member of the community that I want around, and i think a lot of other people do as well.

However this was warranted, and needed to put an end to this situation. Hopefully this will now be done, and we can all move on. I never wanted to ban goldie, and tried for as long as possible to hold off, but it had gotten to the point where we felt this was needed to move forward with the situation.

For everyone's consideration:

This is a temp ban only. when/if he returns, we are going to wait and see if he has reformed. so no one jump right away. If he continues to act as he did in the past, then, please, handle it as we have in the past and notify a MOD. No biting, no baiting, no changing sigs and avatars. We want to first see if there ihas been a change.

Lecter, I know how it feels to have posters follow you around like they're some kind of obsessed stalker, and it's something that Goldie needs to lay off, but comments like this one are part of the problem. It was an uncalled for shot at the guy. Give him a chance to do wrong before deciding that "we" know what the outcome will be. I know you know I'm not coming after you where he's concerned, but you have to be bigger than him, and not make comments to draw him out, because it's not going to reflect good on you.

Goldie, if you are listening, take my words in. Fun is fun, but when it comes to crossing the line, which you do with the attention (and negative attention) you give to Lecter, it's time to step back and re-evaluate why you come to these forums, and hopefully, the answer doesn't have anything to do with negative feelings toward one of the members. What the hell kind of motivation is that for spending your day and energy on?

If you come back, BOTH of you guys need to stay away from eachother, or treat eachother as you would anybody else. Just start over. It's not so hard to do. If killing your reputation over personal grudges like I have done is worth it to you, I have to question why. Trust me, it's not worth something as important as your credibility.
