 "Everyone's A Critic" forum suggestion
I know this would be a huge undertaking, but I think it may go a long way to making Everyone's A Critic less cluttered, especially with all of the requests for new movies.
We should have sub-forums for genres.
The New Releases can remain on the main page, but then there could be sub-forums (kinda like the Trailer Park and Indie section) for Action, Horror, Comedy, Drama, etc....
Eh?

That, and films wouldn't get bumped down so quickly.
And it would just look cleaner.

I know.
It doesn't look cool, though.

I like andaroo's suggestion from a while back. All movies pre-2006 have one sub-forum. All 2006 releases stay in the regular "Everyone's A Critic" forum, until 2007, where I guess they're pushed back.
Or something like that.

With Krem's self-updating archive, no one should have a problem finding a film.

While we're at it, I'd like neat subfolders of everyone's posts available at a click. A Krem file, a Mr X file and so on. Color coded and alphabetized.

The one thing, if its possible, is to either get rid of all the posts in that thread (including the old archive I maintained) and just have Krem's link (otherwise people get confsed) or if there is a way to copy and past that link into a post once in awhile, etc. But I think just the autolink, but none of the other distracting posts that are there now, would hep alot.

But that takes them 3 or 4 seconds of typing. Control-F doesn't just type itself.

They can just scroll then.

This whole thread is silly.
@Gullimont, you must be looking at a different Everybody's a Critic section than I am. There's only one there.

Yes.
Everyone's a Critic is just a horrible user experience. It should make more sense.
Yes you can search but you shouldn't have to ASK where the search capability is.

You don't have to ask. A user just has to read the words "threads for all movies in the forum" right in front of their face.

I'm glad there's at least one other person that thinks some kind of change would be nice.
It's not a matter of being lazy. It's a matter of it not being a clusterfuck.

I have no problem finding movies, the search bar in the top-right makes things incredibly easy.

I have another suggestion though. I think the main site's critics(Galia, Zach) should have more coverage and links from the forum. Possibly a sub-board, and then in there each has their own sticked thread constantley updated. Or, inside the sub-board just individual threads with a date beside them like Eagle does for the site articles. Eg. "06/09/06 Galia Reviews: Cars"
I never know when a new KJ review comes in, I don't take the time to scroll through the site's reviews page every day. Maybe this could help.
