Do you think there'd be enough interest for...
...a serious issues subsection of the water cooler? Where religion, politics, science and all that jazz can be discussed in greater detail?
Just seems like an idea worth tossing around to see if there's enough interest.

I don't think at this point there is need for a sub forum simply because topics do not get tossed from the main page at to quick of a rate.

When the site first originated, that was how the forum was set up, and nobody ever visited "the serious" section.
If anything needs a subsection, it's "Ye Olde Pube"

I rarely go into Ye Olde Pube. But when I do, the conversations tend to revolve around sex.
I think we need an adults only "Cock and Whatnot" subforum.

Ever since Baba tried to compare Angelina Jolie to a pornstar and somehow few people even knew who that pornstar was and the discussions of a zombie gangbang in the Masters of Horror thread. I was thinkining it would be a good idea to set a seperate forum for XXX stars and news. Of course those that arent 18 wouldnt be able to enter the forums. What do you think Krem? The first ever KJ porn forums

I'm assuming that pornstar in question was Belladonna.
Am I right? Am I right? Am I right?

Actually we probably could do a porn forum, and it would be a huge hit! Although we'd probably have to go through a legal process where we'd have to get some kind of a license or something.
As for the Water Cooler, I agree with Eagle. Some of the threads on the first page have been post-less for two to three days.

I think the debate game failed because of lack of topics people could really get into, and it was MUCH too formal for the crowd here. If you look at that thread I started polling users about flag burning, with just a basic approach and nothing too formal, the thread got well over 40 replies. I think a more serious-toned forum section would do decent, just not as well as most of the others.

I think the forum would do fine, but at the present time, there is no need to seperate it from the water cooler because the topics are not getting bumped down to quickly.
