As I said, I assumed. When I read the comment, I felt it was directed at me, which is obvious as you read my post, I make mention of baba, but dismiss it because I did not think it was him you were refering to.

I happen to side with Eagle on this one. This is a thread about Algren's banning, and I don't see any reason why Goldie's name should be brought up as some kind of comparison. I mean, there is an entirely separate thread on that. As a result, it led to two pages of off-topic materials.

Personally. I think every post except for the first one by Egale with the announcement should be removed from this thread. Lets just leave it as a notification of someone's temp ban, and then when they get back, open it up to discussions of future conduct? [-o<

lecter .. i believe you're refering to a conversation we had months ago ... and i do not recall having that same one with Archie. What you stated about the IPs was one of my concerns along with a tonne of others but that wasn't my reasoning for not taking action .. that was merely a point of worry for me incase a permanent ban is ever put in place.

Z, Perfect example Archie made 2 straight-forward comments about me that I asked him to defend and back up his comments.

and the second one is he where he stated that I would just get a second account - something that lots of others have done - and even though I could have and have had lots of chances, I have never done.

so I fairly asked him to back up his comments that for all of my time on the site, 10 months, weren't true.

ISN'T THAT SOMETHING THAT ANYONE WOULD DO. and isnt something that you did after people were making unfair comments to you after people knocking your role in the April Fools Day Prank - I remember you spending lots of time doing damage control and defending yourself.

And on BMP, I mentioned it very quietly until you came out and brought out the name. Right now I could list 10 points about that incident and let the people decide but I only wanted to tell that to a user who for some reason has become very vocal and is acting innocently - And something that I seem to remember he never discussed again or denied later after the incident blew up.

I have talked to Archie, and he does not want to be caught up in this petty mess. I very highly doubt we will see him mentioning you again. Conversly, you should not be mentioning him.

I always felt that there is nothing wrong with mentioning someone if it is not done maliciously. But everyone knows when there is a hit intended. As I always said, I only had trouble when people cross the line.

- And the BMP comment was not baiting because I was just defending myself against someone who was becoming very vocal in the thread. It was a barrage to stop the incoming fire.

- AG made two or more sets of comments to me - both times, I asked him to put up backup for his comments. I at least presented detailed comments about BMP - so whether you agreed or disagreed - I gave you something to discuss and rule on and that is all I was asking for in return. Instead of having slamming comments with no PROOF of what he was talking about.

In my defence he did call me a moron first. But oh well...

I'm not just going to stop insulting people because i got banned temporarily, i'm sticking to my guns. I only ever insult people if they insult me first. My insults may be of a worse degree, but still i always have reason to retaliate (since i cameback that is).

I'm not going to insult someone for no reason. But if someone does insult me and i retaliate and i get banned, then so be it.
