KJ definitely acts differently than 9/10 forums on the internet,, yes Part of the reason it's userbase is decreasing, not increasing. And there is no desire to work on it, which is a little sad since it has nowhere to go but down, as far as acticity is concerned.

I've behaved better than basically everyone who has been posting in here in regards to the rules, so are you saying that someone who has never been in trouble before on the forum is just as likely to be banned as someone who has received several warnings then?

It's up to the admins who they ban and how they run the site, of course they have to accept its up to the users to leave if they are not satisfied with the way the site is being run...

That said, Corpse, KJ is different from 9/10 forums because on KJ people actually sort of connect with each other, have an understanding of each other, support each other, see each others lives. Theres a sense of community here rather than random GTFO Trolls, and when theres a flamewar its a good un between people who have history, not just people arguing over the symmetry of Jessica Alba's tits.

KJ's new life began when BOM exiles arrived, and it is that core group who continue to elevate this site to a better place. Without those people, we are left with a lot of banal users, and some good ones who dont contribute nearly enough.

I guess the history is why KJ feels like chilling with OLD FRIENDS.

Hard to say what future posts from a growing community would be like since it hasn't happened.

Also, when you have just a few "quality posters", arguments and personal issues become much more of the forum discussion than they normally do in a large community, and that results in even more problems since it's more likely for others who are close by default given the size of that community to get involved when they shouldn't.

Disagreements on a forum with 50 regulars dominate the forum far too often. But disagreements on a forum with 500 regulars (500 isn't even that big) takes the back seat because not enough care, which they shouldn't about a sall group fighting.

The former, but they happen so often and are of such a low percentage population wise, no one stops to stare. Unlike the latter. People move on in the former, but get involved in the latter.

No one would even care about Libs vs Korrgan on a forum, say, the size of RT. It'd just be another poster argument, nothing to care about.
