I need a private forum setup (password protected for only the ones I want to visit it). Don't worry, I don't care if the mods/admins have access to it. But I don't want any users who may or may not be ultimately involved to see what I want to do until some agreement is reached with my idea/plans. It will involve KJ as a whole, and it's never been done before, and I believe it'll be a big success once it gets rolling.

So, can I have a private forum to discuss all of this with certain people I want to involve (password protected)? It would really call for alot of organization, and something like an AIM group chat just wouldn't work well.

I think what she has in mind could be a good idea. I'm glad to see you're going to let her run with this. I think maybe I would even let her MOD this small section. It would take most of the burden off of you and some others... Give it a shot, see where it goes for now. Could be fun.

as private forums are meant to last for a purpose and are also meant to be temporary, no mods are appointed for these (unless a elgitimate reason is provided for why mod powers may be required there). as you guys post in that forum, we'll take a look and see if a need for it arises or not.

@Corpse: You provided me a list of names of people you think will be interested. However, I prefer if you give me a list of people who have confirmed with you to be a part of it. If more people want to join later, we can add them on the go.

Unneeded really. I could care less who has access, it's her forum, and someone seeing it won't matter to us or them, they can contribute if they want, ignore it otherwise.

To simplify matters, Ericka is now the leader of a private group, it will show up in her control panel. She can add and remove members from this group, and doing so will allow/disallow them from seeing or using the private forum.

Simple, less work for all involved.

I kept getting this page that said "Fatal Error, Line 15" or something, so I accidently sent the same PMs multiple times, and on top of that, I had Registered Users (who knows how many KJ members are in this...) added to my list of people to PM. Sorry....

I think the reason you got the fatal error is because you included registered users, which overloaded the mail function due to the high number of recipients.
