Jim Carrey would have been the difference between a hit and a megahit for Bewitched. He's very animated, much like Dick York was. ( He played the original Darren in the TV show)

The movie looks fun. It will probably be the big comedy of the holiday season.

Tea Leoni must have made a deal with the devil. She keeps failing upwards. You know the type, makes one unsuccessful thing after another, yet keeps getting promoted, in her case from flop sitcoms to flop movies.

It looks absolutely terrible! I hate Jim Carrey and the trailer is stupid and totally unfunny.

Doesn't look too bad. The trailer alone has more laugh-worthy moments than Bruce Almighty did in its entire running time.

Eh, I dunno. She got the role after Cameron Diaz dropped out.

On the other hand, I feel like Fun with Dick and Jane (the remake, at least) has been in development forever. I recall planning on this movie beginning in at least 2002.

Leoni's sitcoms were flops, but I remember the critics raving about her. Woody Allen also said very good things about her after she worked with him in Hollywood Ending. Deep Impact and The Family Man (wasn't that the name of the movie she did with Nic Cage) were flops? I'm lukewarm towards her, but I'm shocked at the hate out there towards her.

Her character was amazingly irritating in Spanglish, but that was intentional. Leoni did a terrific job in that film, which I think is pretty underrated.

I don't have any problems with her, but she comes across as a bit of a bitch. Her voice has a bitchy tone, she doesn't really have a warm smile, she doesn't smile very often, and she just doesn't seem very friendly or personable. I can think of a few movies, Like Spanglish, Bad Boys, and Deep Impact, where I just didn't find her likable and friendly as a person, and even if that's intentional, the result is still the same. Again, I really don't mind her, but I guess the Tea hate probably stems from her onscreen persona that seems to be there more often than not.

I too have always been kind of lukewarm towards Leoni. She does indeed come across as unlikable, even in films where she is supposed to be just the opposite. As the film itself, I'm sure it'll be a hit since Carrey is gold when doing comedy.

Tea Leoni is easily one of my favourite actresses. She was utterly fantastic in Deep Impact, and her performance in the film was one of the things i noticed as a budding filmbuff dreamee in my younger years, she was great in Spanglish too. Im anticipating this one lots.

Anyway, the trailer was very good. Funny stuff. But im still having problems with damn quicktime
This years Suburban - Actioners couldnt have been more perfectly timed.
Desperate Housewives anyone?

Looks funny. Tea is hit and miss. In some films, like Deep Impact, she is great. In others, like Jurassic Park III, she is very irritating.
