Batman Vs. Superman What ever happen to this movie?
Remember in 2002 when they announced this film? And they said possibly a 2004 release date. I was wondering what ever happen to this idea?

WB wisened up and realized that this would inevitably suck and figured they have enopugh problems trying to steer the BATMAN franchise back on course much less the SUPERMAN RETURNS movie which based on the Cast pics I've seen and the storyline with having SUPERMAN being a (GULP) Deadbeat Dad who's been gone for 7 years will suck to no end.. Thanks for fucking this up Bryan Singer and thanks for the major inconsistency with the plot by having SUPERMAN travelling to Krypton for 7 years when the damn thing exploded in the 1st movie and in the comics.. That is a major fuckup that can't be ignored.. Is there an Emoticon we can have that shows someone flipping the finger cause that's what I want for this post right back at Singer for this pivotal fuckup he's done and for bailing on the X-MEN Franchise????

Dude, when reality sets in, BATMAN couldn't beat SUPERMAN's jockstrap in a fight cause SUPERMAN is the Man of Steel while BATMAN is human with no special powers.. Wishful thinking.. Even in the Graphic Novel "The Dark Knight Returns" when they briefly had a tussle in the end of the book, SUPERMAN just stood there and let BATMAN get his licks in and all it took was 1 punch from SUPERMAN and he broke BATMAN's ribs.. 1 punch.. Forget it, it's no contest..

That's why I prefer him over all the other superheros. He doesn't need any super powers to get the job done. He uses his mind, and his strength, and he's the most genuine superhero in my opinion. He's always been my favorite.

I agree. That way they won't upset anyone, but I like unpredictable and surprising endings much morethan the typical ones. [-(

Wolfgang Peterson was set to direct, but he decided to do Troy instead (or first), and then Warner Bros. decided that they wanted to do solo movies first and get both franchises firmly established before they did a movie featuring both characters together.

This movie would be terrible.
I'd kill to see a Spawn vs. Batman, though. Of course it'd have to be based off that amazing Frank Miller/Todd Mcfarlane book, even though it was essentially just Bat and Spawn fighting each other for fourty pages. It sure was bloody, though.

Batman vs. Superman was never a good idea to begin with. It's, like, having Napoleon Dynamite vs. Predator...

Yeah?? Who won?? No, let me guess?? It was a draw cause neither comic creator will let one get the upper advantage over the other like it was with SUPERMAN VS The HULK which ended in a standoff..

Won't happen no matter who's playing BATMAN or not and in reality, There really isn't a superhero that can beat SUPERMAN given the fact that he's The Man of Steel and from another planet, at least in a fair fight and not bringing Kryptonite into it and throwing it in his face like this is some WWF match.. DOOMSDAY is the only 1 who has beaten SUPERMAN and not only beat him, but beat the holy hell out of him to the point of killing him..
