I hope some of you weren't foaming at the mouth for a HELLBOY 2 in the immediate future because according to babilicous Selma Blair (who played the firestarting Liz Sherman), the film probably won't go into production until 2007. Here's what she had to say:

"I just did The Fog with Revolution, and I was trying to pick their brains for when Hellboy will go…Apparently [director] Guillermo [del Toro]'s supposed to hand in a script any minute. I know there will probably be a long preproduction, so we'll probably start maybe January 2007."

I don't know, that kinda sounds like she's not too sure whether it'll happen at all, which would suck cause HELLBOY was a pretty damn good flick. If nothing else, Guillermo Del Toro's upcoming flick PAN'S LABYRINTH sounds pretty kick ass. For more of what Blair had to say, go HERE.

Eh, the first one was okay...

Don't call it Hellboy 2. Give it like Hellboy: Reborn or something (keep in mind I never saw the first). Then, at least most who don't remember it might see it.
