Because they have more movies than they ever have before in history.

At this rate, how long before Disney starts doing live action re-imaginings of the Pixar movies? Is that phase 2 (2020-2030)?

If they want to do a live action Finding Nemo, they can just stop by my dentist's office and film there for 2 hours.

looks like Pinocchio is getting the live-action treatment too. Well that's more reasonable than Dumbo. What are we gonna get next, Aristocats? :|

I'd watch it.

As for Mulan, they better find an Asian girl to be playing Mulan and not some mixed race or change the race. Considering how much money could potentially be made from China though I think they'll make the obvious choice.

Change the thread title to Disney live action remake thread. Fantasia's Night on Bald Mountain is next.

:whaa:

I love Fantasia (Top 20 film), and just above Rite of Spring, Night on Bald Mountain was my favorite segment from the film growing up.

I'm excited for it but at the same time, it'll probably turn out pretty bad. Disney can't exactly go too dark with it.
