A New Hope would be good too if it were the actual title of the film and not just tacked on later when they realized there would be prequels. The Last Jedi is a super obvious and generic title so I'd say odds are it will be one of the best Star Wars films. Title ranking 1. The Phantom Menace 2. The Force Awakens 3. A New Hope 4. The Empire Strikes Back 5. Revenge of the Sith 6. Return of the Jedi 7. Attack of the Clones AOTC would be a fine title if that were what the actual film were about.

But it's obvious that Disney has said from now on the title needs to have Star Wars words in them. I'm fully expecting the ninth film to be called Star Wars: Episode IX - A New Darth Galaxy Jedi Empire Sith Force.
