Re: Charlie's Angels 3 coming! Should have been girls like Scarlett, Charlize, and Natalie Portman. The brand alone does not sell. You take a chance on one actress that can't carry a film like Lucy in the first. This has reminds me of the Three Stooges Movie when it was suppose to star Penn, Carrey, and Del Toro, and and then that ones that it had. Not that the casting is necessarily wrong, the movie turned out ok, but it had almost no appeal.

Re: Charlie's Angels 3 coming! The reason this won't get top female stars is because it's a crappy project. The likes of Portman want to be in respected films with good directors. This Angels film will be as throwaway as that new Ghostbusters film.

Three Oscar nominations and one win...but other than an Aronofsky, two Terrence Malick films (which means little these days) and a cameo in a Wes Anderson film...she's worked almost entirely with lightweights or no-names since the start of the 00's.
So much garbage on her resume. Is she pricing herself out of better roles with great directors or just not being offered them to begin with?

Bigger pictures (trash) pay more, which means she can buy a holiday home in Martha;s Vineyard for her mother, whereas that indie drama from Woody Allen (prestige) will be a month's work + promo for just enough to pay for a holiday to the French Riviera....if you catch my drift.

Re: Charlie's Angels 3 coming! Too old and Jolie has a full dance card for next year, no way she'd have time. Besides, she turned down a role that was actually written for her in the last incarnation.
And like Jolie, Paula Patton is in her 40's.
And re Ferguson - would she want to be typecast so early in her career?

Apart from KS, it's a good cast. Elizabeth Banks directs and stars.
