Here is a thread, that i feel is justified, he is one of Hollywood's biggest and best actors, and most of (if not all) his films are brilliant and entertaining in some way, here is the first one:

TOP GUN:



I think this is not his best, because im more into his latest films, but this is still a brilliant film, the shots that were taken with the aircraft's in this film are superb and have not been challenged to this day. The acting is superb, mainly from Tom Cruise, he is able to embarass himself, yet still get the gal' :wink: , i wish.

The music, whilst i only remember the 'one' song, it is all good, but "Take My Breath Away" is one of the best songs ever.

What are everybody's thoughts on Tom Cruise and Top Gun?

Whenever it runs on TV, I catch a few minutes. It is still an entertaining movie, but not because of the Cruiser. He smiles through the movie but does nothing else. It still works though since the aerial footage is pretty cool....

great film, even today I can just become engrossed so quickly even if its just on tv.

that machissimo thing between him & val kilmer is great

I think the relationship between Maverick and Mcguillis is fantastic, he doesnt take 'no' for an answer and she is willing, amazing!! :wink:

Collateral is an excellent movie. One of my all time favorite movies. Tom Cruise was just sooo good. =D>
