Post What shall I go see?
I was thinking about going to the dollar theatre today, and I don't know what to see. But if I had to pick I would chose The Notebook, Resident Evil 2, or Napoleon Dynamite. My question to you is do you think I should go to see a movie or not? There's really nothing else to do so I thought I'd go see a movie I haven't seen.

Here's what's playing:

Taxi
The Notebook
Mr. 3000
Napoleon Dynamite
Resident Evil 2
Surviving Christmas
Without A Paddle

I'll give you res Evil 2, but who the hell do you talk to that said without a paddle was good? Libs? Nope. DKmuto? Nope. I don't think even zingy liked it, and the man has watched My Baby's Daddy.

Actually, it was pretty funny.

I know that I'll regret saying this, but it's a movie that only teens who like stupid comedies would like. Everyone else should avoid it.

The Notebook!

Napoleon Dynamite was pretty funny, but overrated. Also, it's coming out on video next week, so it seems hardly worth the effort. The Notebook isn't released until February.

Resident Evil 2 was also fairly good. I'd probably go with the Notebook myself though.

But, for Pinkpanther to rent the movie, it'll cost more than it does to catch a $1 showing ;)

Also, if Napoleon comes out on DVD next week, chances are that it'll be replaced with something else; where as, The Notebook will still be there for the next $1 Tuesday ;).

Well, I decided to see The Notebook first, and I was very impressed with it. One of the best films of the year! The characters were so well developed, and Rachel McAdams was excellent. She really is becoming a great actress, and she's going to become so huge in the next few years. The story unfolds so amazingly, and I cried like three times because it is so tragic, and sad.

A+

I also saw Napoleon Dynamite also, and I loved it as well! Very unique, and original. I can see why a lot of people hated it though. It's a film that isn't for everybody. I really enjoyed it though, and it was consistently funny, and I found it very witty. A lot of the oneliners were memorable like "I caught you a delcious bass". That was just so classic!

A

Thank you for all of your advice people. I really appreciate it!
