Re: Return of the All-Time Top 100 Movie List Thread (axiom)
I like the inclusions of How To Train Your Dragon, Lethal Weapon 4, Transformers, Prisoner of Azkaban, Master & Commander, and Avatar, if you mean the James Cameron one. If so, you picked a weird picture to represent it. Many of those will probably make my top 100.
I also enjoy Alien and Watchmen, but neither has a chance at my top 100.

It seems like SolC9's list might be good too.

The Talented Mr. Ripley is awesome. I always forget to put it on my list. I also forget other greats like Duplicity, Sleuth (2007) and Derailed. These would all feature in the discussion of my Top 200.

But it seems like your favourite movies will be the ones that you enjoy the most, not the ones that IMDB tell you are the best, and that's an admirable trait.

TF3 I know, I'm probably the only person on earth to love the third more than the first but whatever, the final hour is just pure awesomeness. Sadly, I had to eliminate TF2 from the list. There just wasn't enough room for it.

8MM is an undervalued move. It has a lot of very well-staged moments of suspense, and the Cage/Phoenix pairing is dynamite.

I respect Michael Bay in general, but I hate how much time he has devoted to the dull, ugly Transformers franchise instead of original action and science-fiction films.
