Favorite of 2010s Rd 2 - Interstellar vs Mad Max: Fury Road
The 3rd and 4th seeds, will Interstellar’s surprise run continue or will Mad Max charge through to the final three? Interstellar (2014 winner) vs Mad Max: Fury Road (2015 winner)

I’m not a huge fan of either honestly, but I respect Mad Max more

People vote and more than half make no comment, or one word answers. Come on people, engage a little more (entertain me! haha).
For me, leaning towards Interstellar for its heart, bravura vision, that score, McConaghey, Hathaway, Chastain (and the young version), even bad Damon. But goddamn it’s hard to vote against a movie like Fury Road.... again, so visionary, so fleshy and unapologetic, and one of the most unique movie experiences ever.

this is a tough choice, love both...the world building of Interstellar is more captivating, but Mad Max is the more complete film and I just give that the edge.

Yeah there is just no competition between Mad Max and Interstellar. Even among Nolan movies it's a low tier movie.

Four replies in the thread choosing Mad Max, none so far for Interstellar, but the vote is tied 3-3....?

Note that the tie-breaker is written votes, so if you want your movie to advance it has a better chance if you make a post

I mainly voted for Interstellar due to seeing it in theaters. And it has just really held up for me at home. I love Fury Road, but I really regret not experiencing it in theaters.

Meh on both. I’ll vote Interstellar out of loyalty to Nolan. How did we get here?

You should not choose a movie based on loyalty. Damn Interstellar seems to be winning this round as well. This game is rigged due to Nolan fans there is just no way Interstellar is Top 3 movies of last decade.

Inception and Dunkirk did a little worse than I expected. TDKR probably about right. For some reason people just love Interstellar.

God I love both of these movies so much, but Mad Max slightly takes the edge here.

This game is rigged due to Nolan fans there is just no way Interstellar is Top 3 movies of last decade. Other option would be to not vote at all. Fury Road is awesome for like 40 minutes but then it just stops and never regains that intensity. Interstellar is also awesome for the first forty minutes before falling off, but at least I remember what happened in at the end. Dunkirk and Inception are way better though. Fury Road is about equal to The Road Warrior, which is also overrated.

I still think one should not vote because of loyalty but if you did like Interstellar better than its a different matter. I do think a lot of people are voting towards Interstellar because of Nolan.

I'm not a huge fan of Nolan. I was disappointed the first time I saw Interstellar. But I've liked it more each time I watch it. I can't say the same for Fury Road, so I voted Interstellar.
