It's nice to see a meta-movie now and again - - it's an under-visited genre to be sure. So with the theatrical release of
JCVD we surely must rejoice!
...and this is only the second Jean-Claude Van Damme film I've ever seen (after the under-rated B-flick
Timecop which I caught at the drive-in).
Very nicely constructed and argued - - it's a visual doctoral thesis on the subject of self-reference.
JCVD outdoes himself...∑∂∆out of 5.
