What Best Picture nominees since 1985 have you seen?
I thought it might be interesting to take a look at something else than current awards development for a change. The thread title is self-explanatory How many Best Picture nominees of the last 25 years have you seen? The reason why I said "since 1985" because the list might be too long Here are the nominees, the ones I have seen are in bold: 1985:Amadeus The Killing FieldsA Soldier's Story A Passage to India Places in the Heart 1986:Kiss of the Spider Woman Prizzi's Honor The Color PurpleWitness Out of Africa 1987:Hannah and Her Siters PlatoonThe Mission Children of a Lesser God A Room with a View 1988:Broadcast News The Last Emperor Moonstruck Fatal Attraction Hope and Glory 1989:Dangerous Liaisons The Accidental Tourist Working Girl Mississippi Burning Rain Man1990:Driving Miss Daisy Born on the Fourth of July Dead Poets SocietyMy Left Foot Field of Dreams 1991:The Godfather: Part III Awakenings Dances with Wolves Goodfellas Ghost1992:The Prince of Tides JFKBugsy Beauty and the Beast The Silence of the Lambs1993:The Crying Game A Few Good MenScent of a WomanHowards End Unforgiven1994:Schindler's List In the Name of the FatherThe Remains of the Day The Piano The Fugitive1995:Quiz Show Forrest Gump Pulp Fiction The Shawshank Redemption Four Weddings and a Funeral1996:Sense and Sensibility Apollo 13Il Postino BabeBraveheart1997:The English PatientShine Secrets and Lies Jerry Maguire Fargo1998:Titanic The Full Monty As Good as It Gets Good Will Hunting L.A. I have seen 59 of them, by the way.
Out of those I haven't seen, I own Gosford Park and Jerry Maguire, but haven't seen them yet.
I rented Seabiscuit yesterday, so it'll join the list soon.
Not bad, Loyal, not bad.

Not my cup of tea. I'm not classy enough.
I'd take a thousand Team Americas over anything Merchant Ivory has ever produced.
