That's very admirable coming from a 13 year old. I'm about to turn 18 and I have only seen about 20 more than you have.
I have some immediate recommendations however...
Do watch Traffic, As Good As It Gets, Good Will Hunting (I have a feeling you'll really like this one), and I can't believe you haven't seen Silence of the Lambs
Check those out!

Really, most of the pre-1990 movies are very hard to get over here to rent, with the exception of Best Picture-winners and I usually don't do blind buys. I will rent Kiss of the Spider Woman soon, though.

I know you dislike Russell Crowe, but give Gladiator a shot, it's great.

As Raffiki has said, it is very admirable for a 13-year old!
My absolute top 5 suggestions for you to see are:
Platoon (best war movie ever made)
The Pianist (as good if not better than Schindler's List)
American Beauty (lifechanging experience, beautiful movie, one of the best)
L.A. Confidential (my personal favorite from the entire list above, moviemaking at its best, one of the best ensembles ever)
The Green Mile (it's great, sappy at times, but great)
Let me know when you see any of these.

I rewatched Gladiator the other day thanks to the Ultimate Movie Mayhem contest.
I laughed so much when I first saw it in theaters. I've grown to really love it. Phoenix is wacked out in it.
Hopefully Kingdom of Heaven is as good.

I was going through personal tragedy at that time, as well as setting up a business, so my movie watching was far and few between, and I wasn't interested in catching up on those nominees. I don't think I could enjoy watching Gladiator. It's one of those cases where my disgust for Crowe will never let me see anything but an asshole, and the movie would be distracted by it, so I just don't bother. I can choke down a Julia Roberts movie if my arm is twisted , or if she's not the only star, but I can't do it with that idiot. It would not be something enjoyable for me.
