 Re: Source Code
Try not to be a snob, Bradley. You have more to your character than that.

**** / ***** (B)
Rewatched it a week or so ago. I actually expected the movie would not hold up as well as I remembered it. But it did and this time I actually prefer the way it ended. Knowing what happens in the movie, definitely made me more attuned to various hints that are being dropped from the very start about parallel realities and fate. It definitely had another layer to it the second time around.

 Re: Source Code
I enjoyed this a lot when it came out, I have a soft spot for the groundhog-day concept and sci-fi and this totally delivered on that for me. I recently watched it again and I like it even more now, love the performances, from Gyllenhaal and Farmiga especially. The plot is great and I feel it should easily suit itself to one or more sequels, it did pretty well internationally too, I wish they had really explored that. It's an edge of your seat sci-fi thriller, I like the loop itself of needing to find the bomber, but also the character development. A well written and directed film, a gem from Duncan Jones and one my favs from 2011. It makes me wonder, with the 2010's now past us, where this would rank in the decade.
