It's official, Christopher Nolan is moving forward with Universal on his next film set for 2026 and set to star Matt Damon!

Following the ensemble and Oppenheimer's success, I'm expecting every A lister to try to get in on this movie.

After Ford Vs Ferrari maybe Nolan can pull Bale back in.

Well I can tell you it won't be a musical!

it will be a drama with tons of twists. If production will start early next year, I am expecting a teaser late that year along with a Imax preview(or special trailer) like all his movies.

Really doesn't even matter what the movie is. Nolan is at a god-tier status that has never been seen before.

Hopefully they get another double feature situation going. Idk what female appealing film will be ready by then but it'd be fun if we had another Barbenheimer.

Not sure the Damon pick blows my mind but it could always be Damon+Powell+ATJ or something in the end.

Beleaguered WB execs now fast tracking Barbie 2 for the sane release date.

So apparently WB executives weren't even allowed to read Christopher Nolan's latest script and didn't have a shot at getting him back.

Universal really scored a home run with Oppenheimer and pulling Nolan away. WB had 9 movies in a row with Nolan since 2002 either international or domestic distribution for Nolan. To not even get to see the script?!

He hates Dave Zaslav. As long as he's CEO he's never going back to Warners. So I guess we'll never see Inception 2 until he leaves.

Looks like Clint is the first victim of post-Joker Zaslav by dumping his last movie in 50 theatres with no marketing/rollout.

WB deserve a decade of flops. I hope they make Barbie 2 and its a Joker 2 level misfire.

Tom Holland has been cast. Interesting choice indeed. This means Spidey 4 is not releasing July 2026.

I feel like they will wait too long to make Barbie 2. Greta is doing a Narnia TV series for Netflix (?!) and Margot has already said there's no immediate plans. I'm sure it will eventually happen but probably not fast enough for it to be a best case box office scenario. Probably not a Joker 2 disaster unless they recast Margot.

Curious if the vampire storyline is legit.

Coogler is kinda doing the same thing with Sinners. Vampires are back to being so hot right now. Hope we can get a Passage movie out of it.

That hack Nolan trying to copy Maverick's success but tweeking it to helicopters instead.

Interesting. I thought this was a joke originally but would rather see this than the period vampire film.

I'm assuming Matt Damon is the veteran helicopter pilot and Tom Holland is the upstart.

If true, an End of Watch with helicopters directed by Nolan is certainly enticing.

Whatever it is I’m so over Nolan since interstellar. Such a rough taste after that one haven’t watched anything since. Still might bite dunkirjk, tenet, and Oppenheimer though
