Biggest movie of April
In the biggest movie of January/February other than Mean Girls poll only MadGez got it right in Bob Marley and the big favorite Argylle crashed and burned. Let's try April which looks unpredictable.

Re: Biggest movie of April
Civil War is definitely looking at 20m OW. That unfortunately should be sufficient to win the month.

Re: Biggest movie of April
I think Civil War also. I'm hoping for a mid 20's OW but it may not get that high.

Re: Biggest movie of April
Wow if Civil War does 20m+ opening. Would love to see more bigger budget A24 films.
Although I don't really see it being huge, Challengers had some potential to do well if it's well received.

Probably CW but I'll go with Challengers to mix it up.

Re: Biggest movie of April
It's sad that no other April movie has yet to pass $25M TOTAL. Though Challengers and Monkey man will pass that it's been an attrocious month but wonderful for the March holdovers.

Re: Biggest movie of April
April monthly total $429,923,916. That ranks at #25. Taking out 2020/21 due to Covid, that's the worst April in 27 years since 1997. Though tickets are 125% higher now. Horrendous!

Re: Biggest movie of April
And most (haven't seen Ungentlemenly Warfare or Abigail yet) of the movies delivered. Sure, Civil War was a bit disappointing, but it's still a spectacle worthy of being seen on big screen. Monkey Man is niche to be sure, yet there was about $150M+ of John Wick fans who decided to stay home. Challengers was just awesome and hopefully will have the legs to show it.
