Some pretty good drops (Anyone But You wow) but zZz. Beekeeper getting #1 would at least be interesting.

Poor Things looks like it won't have a weekend above 3.5m in its run but curious to see how high it can go.

I’d say it has a chance to match the favorite but it’s not gonna be sone huge crossover hit.

I guess people just don't want to watch the Holdovers

Holdovers is on Peacock and VOD and bluray. I think if they released it in December it could've had a good run in January but eh.

50-99 million movies compared to 2023 and 2022

January:

2022: 2 (Scream and A Man Called Otto)
2023: 1 (M3gan)
2024: 2 if the Beekeeper makes it + Mean Girls

In 2023 some movies that might have made it in current environment in Plane, Knock on the Cabin, 80 for Brady, Magic Mike's Last Dance all missed 50 mil. Cocaine Bear was its February hit. 2022 hit Dog and jackass in Feb while its Jan schedule was a bit cleared out for covid outside of Scream.

Ftr Dec 2023 will have 4 (Godzilla Minus 1, Anyone But You, Boys in the Boat, The Color Purple) barring a Poor Things BP win compared to 1 for 2022 (Violent Night) and 0 for 2021

Yay for Oppenheimer which looks to have it's best weekend since September!

ABY's first weekend surprisingly in the top 3! Needs a 7.21X multiplier to reach $100M.

Godzilla Minus One passed $100M global! It's $1,406 PTA on Friday is the best it's had since it's opening weekend!

-14% for the Beekeeper is pretty amazing and Wonka, Anyone But You, Migration still racking up the 5 million weekends a month after Christmas

Looks like Anyone But You is doing well internationally with 127m WW already

The legs on Anyone But You. Wow. I love seeing boxoffice runs like this.

Curious to how much of a boost Anyone But You will get for Valentine's day. Maybe it'll be enough to have it go above 100m, hopefully they keep it off digital...

Wow, either The Beekeper was hit harder by football playoffs than expected or MGM was trying to steal some headlines. The estimate seems like it was way off this werk.

Tuesday #'s

The Beekeeper $913,224 -27% $43,028,934
Mean Girls $676,875 -43% $61,511,974
Anyone But You $576,788 -16% $71,977,883
Wonka $491,068 -17% $195,743,289
Poor Things $462,546 +23% $25,414,760

American Fiction $384,601 +25% $12,172,311
Godzilla Minus One $367,888 +349% $55,768,080
Migration $358,905 -14% $101,594,395
The Boys in the Boat $338,176 -26% $47,759,141
Aquaman 2 $265,359 -25% $118,445,671

I.S.S. $202,512 -49% $5,846,928
Night Swim $181,835 -29% $27,040,430
Oppenheimer $150,760 +258% $328,336,210

ABY will be at $73M going into its 7th weekend. Could get $3.9M if it maintains its daily hold for about $77M. Still would only be only -35% from its 1st weekend! $90M is the floor but a huge Valentine's Day week will push it toward $100M.

Minus One's run has been so enjoyable. Audiences seem to love it. I think they should do a double feature with the new Godzilla movie coming out in the spring to give it another boost then.

Oppenheimer now at $957.7M globally. $42.3M away from $1B with Japan and the Oscars still to come.

Wed #'s so far

1 The Beekeeper $575,813 -26% $43,604,747
2 Mean Girls $482,916 -42% $61,994,890
3 Anyone But You $400,821 -17% $72,378,704
4 Godzilla Minus One $348,181 +320% $56,116,261
5 Poor Things $318,144 -2% $25,732,904

6 Wonka $310,000 -21% $196,053,289
7 American Fiction $270,358 +2% $12,442,669
8 Migration $248,635 -5% $101,843,030
9 The Boys in the Boat $214,703 -31% $47,973,844
10 Aquaman $175,000 -23% $118,620,671

11 Night Swim $135,490 -31% $27,175,920
12 I.S.S. $128,084 -48% $5,975,012
13 Oppenheimer $120,160 +186% $328,456,370

Godzilla should NOT be pulled from theaters. It's passed Wonka now and dropped only 5% from Tuesday. If they kept it around could maybe make a run for $70M.

ABY has now pulled a 12.06X multiplier! It still has Valentines Day to go as well so is set for at least 15X ($90M+).
