Still poor that BoP couldn't do $10m on Friday. Great hold for BBFL

The overseas #s are looking pretty bad too. Sigh. This is probably gonna end up in the 80s total (god) unless legs bring it to 100m.

If this was the same movie without the DC brand I'd get the numbers but it's just bizarre how this is opening so low with a brand like this.

The way the dude at Deadline sounds like a troll writing about this movie lol wtf

The whole "from what I've heard" BS they always right is cringe worthy.

Love that KO is at #8 in its 11th weekend. Signs of a strong franchise if the next one is done right.

Knives Out 2 would probably debut to at least John Wick Chapter 3 numbers if not more.

B+ for BOP compares to Spider-man 3, Suicide Squad, X-men origins: Wolverine, and Venom. Not such good company. Even Aquaman got better with an A-. Still a CinemaScore can mean many thing:

Brand Loyalty: it’s not a direct sequel
Expectations: the low opening probably means expectations were not that high. I have no doubt many blockbusters get better CinemaScores because people are anchored to high expectations.
Divisiveness: Joker has a good IMDB score and good legs, but the CinemaScore was a more divisive B+. BOP being the type of movie that it is probably didn’t play well with parts of the audience.

A movie can find a new audience even with a poor CinemaScore. Fight Club might be the best example of a movie gaining a following after divisive CinemaScores. But it didn’t hold that well in theaters; it found an audience on DVD.
