Must be seen to be believed.

No, it will not smash a single record. It looks very cheap, uninspired compared to the likes of Pixar, DreamWorks and even Blue Sky.
It may be lucky to get an American theatrical release, but I highly doubt that. There's at the moment no single studio that is backing 'Delgo', and this trailer has been out for nearly two years.

This reminds me of another cheap CGI flick: "Back to Gaya".

Oh my God that looked so awful!

The animation looks so cheap, and shitty, and I'm almost certain this film will flop and be quickly forgotten.

It looks decent, if not incredibly cliche and confused with it's genre. If it somehow were released in the States with the average CGI kids movie ad campaign and theater count, it'd probably do about 20/70.

If it will be released wide, I expect more Jonah: A Veggie Tales Movie numbers or even numbers in the range of Thomas and the Magic Railroad.

Well keep in mind I'm talking 3,400 theaters and a huge ad campaign with tie ins. That'd be a definite dissapointment I'd say with that sort of money going into marketing.

3.400 theatres is a lot for 'Delgo'.
I predict this one will be a DTV.

Weird, i seen this on IMDB and was like, What the fuck is this?

Jennifer Love Hewitt, Val Kilmer and Freddie Prinze JR....Hmm...

Add this cast to horrid animation, and bombs away.

I think he is being sarcastic.

Now I know why there aren't more independently-made CGI films.

I actually saw a trailer for it like a year and a half ago, it looked bad then, it looks worse now.

I think Gigli's record will be safe for many years.

Okay. I guess I'm just easily entertained (or maybe I've just seen too many of my little nieces' Barbie videos), but I thought it looked interesting. Not box-office, feature film interesting, but direct-to-video/DVD interesting. It's something my nieces would probably watch, and I'd probably watch it with them.
