Very nice recovery, had a feeling the previews would be deflated, main demo has work on Friday’s now. I’d say 60 4 day is still in play

There is no possible way the 4 day multiplier is that low unless snow storms really decimate it.

I see 17, 20, 19, 10. So 58-64 4 day depends if it continues to adjust though

$16M is official number. Meh Story of the week is The Upside with $4.1M though. That will be close to a $15M weekend. Will it repeat its French run in the states??

Re: Early Friday #s
Glass got a B Cinemascore. Was kinda expecting worse, it should manage to do $100m but probably not way over.

It's also interesting to see a disconnect between the critics score in the audience score on Rotten Tomatoes for class. The audience scores around the same thing that unbreakable in Split got. As a matter of fact the cinemascore is also between unbreakable and split.

Broly is the big story of this week and the weekend IMO. Obviously, Glass and The Upside are going to make way more domestically, but for something that seemed so niche these have definitely some pretty damn impressive numbers so far.

A Star is Born and BR being well over $200m is pretty crazy.
Nice drops all around, even Escape Room is holding well.

Re: Early Friday #s
I was really worried Escape Room would be hit harder by Glass but thankfully that's not the case. Should do 50+ which will hopefully be enough for a sequel. I think a sequel can easily only go up. They'd be stupid not to make one.

Re: Early Friday #s
Spidey has an outside chance at $200m M Night continues his hot streak in terms of profitable movies. Despite the mixed reviews and ostensibly, a hefty marketing budget, Glass will likely not need home video sales to be profitable.

Re: Early Friday #s
I was wondering of the same thing in terms of Spidey's gross. If it wins Animated movie at Oscar it might re-expand and get past $200m. I believe its good holds are due to Golden Globe win so an Oscar might allow new audience to find it in theaters.

It will be close. $300m+ WW virtually guarantees a sequel.
