It's a tough one to predict. The brand is undoubtably strong, but there's never been a successful blockbuster based on a commercial. Then again there was never a hit Marvel film until XMen, so things can change in a hurry.

Right now I'll go with $35-40m opening depending on reviews. Should also do monster numbers in China.

All kidding aside: it's only a matter of time until Hollywood realizes they haven't made an M&M Guys movie or a Swedish Fish movie or Chester Cheetah movie or a Keebler fucking Elves movie, etc.

There actually was a Bazooka Joe movie in development from Michael Eisner (!) about 7-8 years ago.

Yeah, they always have that bit with the M&M's before the movie to tell you to turn off your phone. I think that could actually be a funny movie with good writers.

Yeah they've had those pre-show bits and even faux movie posters in theater lobbies for years, seems like a natural move to make a feature.

Some celebrity voices and poop jokes for kids + Some self deprecating humor about the ridiculousness of making a movie about candy for the parents...it writes itself.
