Re: Friday Numbers
So looking at a mid 60s opening, low 200s total.

Re: Friday Numbers
I was always wondering where those huge TEEN TITANS predictions were coming from...

Re: Friday Numbers
I wonder if the moviepass mess will hurt MI at all. Right now you can only get MI tickets at e ticketing theaters. If that isn't fixed by Wednesday, I will probably cancel Moviepass. I think they are about to go out of business.

I think it will get past that mark, at least I hope it doe, but it won't be by much. Also, holy shit at that Teen Titans front-loading. It must be solely appealing to fans of the show and no one else.

Re: Friday Numbers
Fallout should stay level on Saturday, no? It seems to me more of a daytime Saturday type film than a Friday evening one. Teens will surely flock. I'm expecting a big Saturday.

Considering the older skewing nature of the franchise the Saturday drop shouldn't bee too bad, and if it's able to stay flat then that would be great too.

So it’ll do high 50s/low 60s instead of mid 60s. Hopefully the good WOM will get people to pay full price, its absolutely worth it. Though the great WOM I predicted for Ant-Man hasn’t really panned out.

Re: Friday Numbers
This is a great performance. Gotta give it to Tom, he's still got starpower and this franchise will keep going.
I think this is a good pre-cursor for TG. I can see that one potentially pull an even bigger opening considering the 33 year wait. Adjusted for inflation, it's also his biggest film.

Re: Friday Numbers
I think Top Gun will be a 200m+ hit through sheer nostalgia for the film. It still has a strong fan base and Cruise is certainly seen in a better light than he was earlier this decade.
