For some reason I thought Mother! was wider than it actually is :P It is literally playing at every theater in NYC. A theater that just opened near Times Square has it playing every half hour and it's one of only two movies screening there (in an eight-screen theater). Meanwhile Hitman's Bodyguard has basically been phased out of the area. Just interesting.

Mother! is obviously a failure which is a shame. With the WOM I'd be shocked if it made it to $20 million, but kudos for Paramount taking a risk.

It continues to amaze. Terrific drop. Also solid drop for Home Again.

Annabelle: Creation is going to outgross The Conjuring 2 which is crazy.

I do wonder if Dunkirk will make it to 200 Million if they do an awards season re-release.

It is unbelievable. It's already made 10X its budget worldwide. WB is having an awesome year with surprise mega performers

Very bad for mother. After underwhelming runs from Joy, Passengers and mother, JLaw probably needs a big new franchise.

Spidy will end up getting a 5 multiplier from its third weekend on. Really great run all around.
Glad The Dark Tower benefited somewhat from IT.

Homecoming's so close to outgrossing Spider-Man 3 I imagine everybody at Sony can taste it.

She should try to worm her way into the Wonder Woman sequel. It's honestly the only way she will be in another hit. :P

In other words, she's got to get away from picking well written quality movies and get back to generic crap.

If she wants to become the next Angelina Jolie, yes, and I think she does. She can become another Juliette Binoche. Having the respect of your peers and the industry, but I doubt she prefers that over fame and fortune. Unfortunately, she seems to think you can have both, and only a handful of people in the world actually have that.

It may not reach 15m.

It will be on video. It won't do any better than Gladiator.
